  1. Yay for you!!! I LOVE reading inspiring posts such as this! I'm gearing up for my surgery in August!
  2. Oh, thank you so much for your response! I am absolutely sick over it all! I know I won't sleep tonight worrying about it, but you helped tremendously. Good luck to you, sister!!! [emoji1377]
  3. Hi, all! My appointment with the psychologist is tomorrow, and I am so nervous it's unreal! I'm so close to being finished with everything required for surgery, and I hope I don't ruin it with this. I don't know what to expect. She said to plan on being there around 3 hours. What all do they do In THREE HOURS!? I imagine a huge interrogation where they try to trip you up and say you can't handle surgery. Lol! Nah, I know better, but what can I expect?? Please help calm me!

HELP! BCBS 6 Month Nutrition Requirement

BCBS changed the language in their contract and it is no longer required to do 6 months of a weight loss program prior to surgery. I spoke to a rep for BCBC of WV and she informed me of this! Call your insurance and ask about the change made in December of 2016.
  5. Hi, guys! I am brand new to this forum. I am looking at my Sleeve surgery in August. I meet with my psychologist next week, on Tuesday! I've already seen my dietician/nutritionist, and we discussed my love for pop. I am now on day 5 of no Dr. Pepper! If you knew me, you would know my heavy addiction to it. Now that I've given that up, I find my craving for carbonated drinks sooooo much heavier now. I love bubbly drinks, and I've read that they are bad for post-op patients due to the bloating it causes. Anyone else experienced that? I'm so excited and even more dedicated to this lifestyle change! I can't wait to be a success story!
