    Vitamins

It’s funny how all doctors are different. Mine told me to definitely stay away from gummies and use flintstones complete. Although, the complete does not have all the nutrients, that’s the purpose of taking 2 instead of one. That way you do have everything. Of course he said add in biotin and calcium too.

    4 week stall

Hello, hi I’m in the same situation. I was sleeved on 10/11/2017. I weighed in at 303 and now I’m between 275-277 too. If you look at YouTube search for Dr.V.......he talks about exercising too early at the gym. It has something to do with exercising and few calories.

    How to not be impatient

I feel the same way. I don’t know how they are doing it. I try to get on the thread were they post their daily diets. When I read them I can’t believe it. Most are eating a lot of food. Ex: one person listed that the had 4oz salmon 2 oz potatoes and 2oz green beans...now that was only dinner. I believe most were getting in close to 1100 even a few are at 1300 calories. I just wonder are the rest of us getting enough food in. Also, I’m getting the A? thing too while texting. Think it’s a iPhone glitch
  6. My plan is totally different. I can’t have any fruit, starches, and/or grains until I get to my goal. I was sleeved 10/11/17 SW 303 CW 276...so that means another 6 months to a year. GW 160. Go figure [emoji30][emoji30][emoji30]
  7. Thanks......Now I’m at a stall.

    OCTOBER SLEEVERS CHECK IN HERE

That’s great....I️ was sleeved on 10/11 too. I️ am taking in about 900 calories 80 in protein

I need help with my diet

It really depends on the turkey. I️ use a scale to weigh my food. Also, I️ sometimes get the tightness but I️ try not to let it get that far. I️ just eat the amount of food I’m suppose to. Generally, when I️ get the tightness, it means I️ at too much.
  17. Now that I’ve had the surgery I️ can’t tolerate Carmel premier protein by itself. I️ pour half in coffee and try to drink the rest.

I need help with my diet

Hello I’m about the same amount of weeks. 10/11/2017 surgery date. Every doctor is different. My nutritionist and doctor have me eating no more than two ounces three times per day. Ex: breakfast...one egg 1 oz and 1 oz turkey sausage. Lunch 1oz of deli sliced turkey 1oz of veg...carrots or green beans. Dinner 1 oz cod and 1oz cooked spinach...snacks ....2oz Greek yogurt and laughing cow cheese.....most of the time I️ have to still add in one protein shake. Sometimes two..... my team told me no starches until I’m at my goal weight. That includes beans, nuts..etc so I’m suppose to be eating on a daily basis 60 to 80 of protein and no more than 45 to 50 carbs... most of my carbs come from Gatorade, G2 and sugar free popsicles. Also, I️ use an app called net diary and I️ scan everything I️ eat. Also, I️ weigh and measure everything and put it in 1 and 2 oz containers... hope this helps.....
  19. Thanks for the info. I’m always looking for more support.

    Vitamin Regimen

My doctor just told me to take a multi, biotin, b12, and calcium. I️ haven’t had to set an alarm. I️ just use the vitamin storage container that has 7 days with morn, noon, evening, and bedtime. I’m generally pretty good at remembering to take, but there are slot of neat apps that have reminders. If you think you would forget you should get one. Also, I️ just purchased some chewable vitamins and each have at least 3 to 4 grams of carbs. I’m wondering if these should count towards my daily totals. [emoji848]
  24. This is my third day post op and I’m so depressed. My boyfriend is here walking around like I don’t exist. I’m crying from physical and mental pain. You would think after seeing me lying here he would ask how I’m doing or if I need anything. Not him..I just don’t know what to do at this point....just needed to vent since he’s not talking to me..

    Head Hunger.....it's real!!!

Just to but my two cents in about food addiction. Before I had my surgery, I asked my doctor if I was addicted to food. He said NO.....It’s the volume in which is consumed. That’s the purpose of surgery. Cutting the stomach down to the size of a 🤛, so the volume of food is decreased. You can be addicted to food, but more healthier choices.
