  1. I was sleeved on 7/24. Today is my first day I am feeling more normal. Every sip I take I can feel and I did feel dizzy and weak the first few days after I got home from the hospital. I think in a day or 2 you will be feeling much better .

Congrats. I will be 4 months out on the 30th everyday I get better haven't checked my weight in about 2 months I go back to doctor in August but so far my weight loss is 53 pounds I hope I have lost a lot more. I work out 6 days a week and I'm getting ready to start lifting weight I'm 6'0. Everyone's saying you loss a lot but I can see it. So I know you all will do so well with your weight loss

  2. I'm 3 days post-op and feeling kind of light headed when I take a walk. Also, I feel a little pressure in the new stomach area when I drink. I never experience some many hungry pains in my life. Is all this normal.

I was sleeved on March 30,2017. When I came home I was feeling weird at first I wasn't hungry always thought I was. I strained so much thought I had to use the bathroom but to make a long story short I started to hemorrhage I was put in the hospital 3 more days. I was so used to eating and going to restroom. It's sometimes in are head we have to train us mentally and physically we have been doing what we want for so long I myself tore my body up so now I'm retraining me. You just had surgery you have to rest because this surgery will wear you out. And your not putting much in your body. My doctor gave me B12 to inject every month myself for energy but I need them twice a month so I'm going to ask him for 2 B12 injection a month if you have any question just ask I'll try and answer to the best of my ability

  3. I think for the most part, all we can do is support each other and do the best we can to reach our goals and maintain a healthier lifestyle. Thank you to all who encourage me and share tricks and tools for success.

Sent in three section large over 30 pages

  4. Thank you, cheese is a good place to go for that salty craving. I wish I had a book that was so detailed like that. You are right, since I have started on this group forum I see that there are a lot of different answers coming from doctors.

Well I can take pictures of the different phase and send them to you you can contact me on gmail under Leah Glass. Or deni6485@gmail.com

Your welcome I really can only tell you what my doctor told me all doctors are a lot different when I tell you what my doctor said it's only by me asking and my experience. But it's always best to do what your doctor tells your to do. My doctor said I can have coffee even had it in the hospital. But I only use it for ice coffee and make my own with my Premier drink and Creamer. But one lady said that her doctor said she can have soda but my doctor told me no soda due to carbonation in the soda my point is that everyone should ask there doctor and just do what there doctors want them to do. But take care and I know that your weight loss will be a successful.

  6. Well all doctors tell you different thing and some say you can have coffee some say you can't. Before I left hospital I received a book and it has everything you can and cannot have by the weeks and months. You just have to do what your doctor said to do. This book starts from Phase 1 being the liquids on. I look at calories and portion and if something is gluten free. Also I have Baby bel cheese and that can be salty Gouda original my on the go snack

  7. First you should see how you like buy a couple I had so much stuff I had to give away but that popcorn and the Protein bar I would measure my popcorn out so I would have it for a week ready to go I had to get organized are I just wouldn't eat. Because I wasn't hungry at all. All so get you different shakes so you will have a variety of different ones so you will keep them in your body I still wake up and have a shake for Breakfast sometimes.

  8. I've heard that some people don't enjoy some foods the same or either don't tolerate them the same. This is in the context of foods that you are supposed to have not high fat/sugar stuff. Has anyone had this issue? Which foods are a no-no for you now?

I have even the Premier drinks they are so sweet have to drink them down fast. Also I used to like salmon so I bought salmon patties from Sams that was just nasty. Every day my taste buds change. I want to ask some of you when you burp do you taste a burn taste in your mouth. I've been tasting this since surgery.

  9. I was sleeved on the 17th of July. So far everything is going well. I am healing properly, still sore and having some back pain only on the right side. I am having a hard time getting all the Protein and Water in that is required but I am trying to get better at it everyday. I try not to get on the scale every day because I do not want to get discouraged , so I am saving my scale days for my doctors visits.
    How is everyone else?

Congrats it's all ways hard at first getting that protein in I'm still having hard time with it at almost 4 months out. I drink a lot of Premier drink in banana, strawberry and chocolate I also have the vanilla powder muscle milk that you can mix with the different Torans syrups to give the powder a different taste. Also the protein bar I go to Big Lot and get Elite protein bars in cookie dough, vanilla and coconut they cost about 70 cents. A lot cheaper then any other place I break down into a 3 piece and snack on them during the day and that is 25 grams of protein. I also make my own ice coffee with the Premier drink.

  10. Well you will do good just remember this is a tool to help you be successful and you will be good.

My eating habits have totally change stuff that I wouldn't normally I eat and it's great but some times you find that people close to you try an sabotage your weight loss but pay them no mind it would work out I find myself reading the back of products counting calories how much Protein something has in it how much sugar. I drink a lot of my meals but I do eat also I'm learning to cook a little different. And I s wonderful with all different recipes

  11. So far I have lost over 53 pounds the last time I saw my doctor but I haven't been back to the doctor in about 2 1/2 months I don't weight myself because I just don't want to know I had surgery on March 30, 2017 so I'm almost 4 months out I ended back in the hospital a week after my surgery I got sick and started to hemorrhage because I was straining trying to use the bathroom. And how was your surgery how are you feeling? I work out every morning it's Chris Powell 15 minuet work out and it helps out a lot all of my clothes are falling off so right now I mostly buy workout clothes.

  12. That's just wonderful congratulations to your new life this surgery has done so much for me. I'm losing the weight I feel good about myself haven't felt this way in over 7 years or longer. If you have any question please ask? I felt the same way your feeling today didn't sleep. Again congratulations

  13. Congratulation on your date. This was the best thing I've done for me getting my life back in order and thinking about me for once in my life. This surgery will be the best thing for you and your love ones. How long have you been going through this process. And if you have any question you can ask I'll answer to the best of my ability.

  14. I guess it's different for all doctors I had coffee after surgery in hospital no sugar just Creamer. The first month I lost 53 lb and I don't see the doctor until August hope it will be another 50. But everything is good. This is just a tool for me I workout 5 to 6 days a week. What I did find out nothing taste the same so stuff I would eat is really nasty. I don't mess with red meats only seafood. When do you have Surgery

  15. Really I had my surgery in South Carolina the only thing. My doctor told me no soda. Did your doctor give you a book that tells you everything you could have mine said no sugar with coffee only creamer. The booklet has everything that you can have in week one and so on.
