I'm not full with liquids. I wonder if the next stage purée I will feel full.

Feeling good. A little pain, more on right side. Small sips if water. Started at 7pm last night. Up to the bathroom 3times. Slept well midnight to 4 am. Up to the br. Then walked the hall with my nurse. Now in chair sipping water. Starting my first post op day.

My surgeon scheduled it to be done by the Radiologist under fluoroscopy the day before surgery.

I'm scheduled at 10:30 tomorrow. I had a PICC line inserted today so I have a good line and no repeated needle sticks because I blew my IV site getting up to walk or pee. I want it over. Going to sleep early tonight.

If you have chronic pain from fibromyalgia how do you control your pain post op to limit opiate use? I need o have suggestions for my pre-op visit. Thank you in advance for your help.

I worried that it would be so much more than it was. I Didn't need more antidepressants or therapy. I passed for weght loss surgery. You will too.

PB2 mixed in plain homemade hummus is good add sweetener and cocoa for peanut butter fudge dip for more protein to dip you apple slices in.

I will have the scd's automatic sequential squeezing device on and they usually use compression stockings under those. It's all to prevent blood clots.

I was on cymbalta that was changed to fluoxetine and amitriptyline in 2007. I use a lot of Advil and receive a prescription for 45 Tylenol #3 every 6 month and a prescription for flexeril too. I use essential oils, and Arnica Montana topical rubs.

Chiropractor or acupuncture are also options. I use ice and heat alternating at first. I use outback natural oil blend roll on , arnica Montana with msm cream or Doterra's deep blue for pain.

I use organifi vanilla vegan complete protein shake powder. 20gm protein, gluten free, dairy free, soy free, organic, non gmo.

I have my surgery date for Aug 9. July 24 I have lab work drawn, Drs. Pre-op visit, and pre-op class. I'm committed and excited. I will also schedule a PICC line placement in radiology on the 8th prior to surgery due to 1/2 of my lymph nodes removed on the left side 6/2010 due to metastatic breast cancer. 7 years clear of cancer! Time for a slimmer more active life. Fibromyalgia pain easing up.

You could always have you Mother ship your case in a box by ups or fed ex to your home then you can open the box and luggage to take your clothes out one at a time so your not lifting a full box or small suitcase.

Good luck to you too. My problem is stopping all over the counter supplements which includes Advil, aspirin and turmeric I take every day for fibromyalgia pain. My chiropractor recommended 3 homeopathic oral sprays for pain relief, allergies and ER 911 for emotional stress relief. I am taking them in to my surgeon on the 24 for my pre-op appointment for his ok. I've also purchased a concentrated topical spray Therapain to replace the 4,000 mg of MSM I've taken since the 1990's for stiffness and pain. All of this needs his approval. i also use a lot of topical essential oils too.

Asked my surgeon about a central line and we are scheduling a PICC line placement in radiology the afternoon before surgery. I blow IV's just getting in and out of bed. So I'm grateful for this option.

Thanks Sharon, my sleep scores on my ResMed cpap machine have been low due to interrupted sleep due to pain. I pushed myself to clean out a 10x20 storage unit the last 2 months. Things to get done before my surgery. I'm waiting for my insurance to ok my surgery after completing all the requirements.

I've just completed all the pre-clearance requirements for the insurance. My Dr stated that fibromyalgia does not always improve. My goal is to lose weight. Get off my medications for diabetes, high blood pressure, and move easier.
