  1. LOL I am a single mum to two toddlers cant remember the last private poo without someone needing something lol. But it does sound really intresting, I have a tendency to get obbsessed with numbers/charts ( I have diagnosed OCD since childhood) So a normal tracking thing I can make consuming and end up , awake all night tracking something. ) But that is real dedication!
  2. I get you , lucky I am regular i think , only had an issue in the start my goodness, it was torture! But all good now hehe ,
  3. I think its great how kind your being your saying what works for you and also saying what works for others i great, i think this is a great attitude to have
  4. I find it fascinating that people think they know what suits every individual, better than the individuals own surgeon etc. I only know about myself, no one elses journey.
  5. Is everyone tracking how often they poo?
  6. I was not talking about tracking in general. I was particularly asking about tracking all his bowel movments lol i cant even remmeber my poo paterns lol. I did not say I was having any issues. edit- Though because of my history etc my surgeon and team do not feel i should track , but prefer i eat a healthy balanced diet. Though I do weigh sometimes and also see how I go as I eat more I will evaluate. But I am happy to follow my teams advice
  7. Lol i am pretty sure people who do not weigh make the supportive decision that is better for them too lol Everyone is different and every plan is different. You cant decide what works for everyone as if this is the only way to change long term behaviour. It is very good yes, but does not suit every personality type to do it the way YOU think its best. We should all be respectful that one size does not fit all.
  8. You track how often you poo? This is a new one on me . Do you have kids? Do you still keep all that tracking up if they are around? I know many people manage to track with kids lol but never seen someone track to this extent it sounds very time consuming, but obviously things people get used to can be fit in somehow .
  9. Can I ask , if your weight was caused due to a medical condition and medication, how does the sleeve work for you? If it had nothing to do with the way you were eating prior to surgery? Seems alot of effort to go to if MOST of your issue was nothing to do with eating habits. Just curious. As surely you still have that medical condition but the WLS is clearly working for you.
  10. I do sometimes lol like today lol. But my team and surgeon does not want me too lol. They prefer I eat a healthy balanced diet in small amounts and not focus on weighing and macros.
  11. Is beef in your plan from your surgeon? 2 weeks post i was still on liquids, your struggling to get water in but your having beef, does not quite make sense to me . Protien is important but I would say the liquids need to be worked on befoe having beef, unless its speciically what your team recomended.
  12. FALSE ALARM lol i weighed this morning i was 216 lol
  13. 40lbs at 1 week? You could have popped your stiches, thank goodness you were okay.
  14. I was told no lifting for 6 weeks. i would be worried for me to look after a 7m old at 4 weeks i was so sleepy!!! my kids are older so was fine but struggled alittle
  15. Burping was a sign of fullness for me . But you may not feel physically full as you are still healing, and i did not feel full till I was on solids.
  16. Also the sleeve and bypass are not the same, so effect people differently . Perhaps they need an antacid or two.
  17. Ask your friend honestly if she is eating too much lol. I have had mucous come up when I ate to fast when starting solid food.
  18. I was not allowed eggs till week 5.
  19. I did not know people even eat 8 ounces a year out that is intresting. what food are you eating? can you eat 8 ounce of meat?
  20. Hi how are you doing? Did your surgeon tell you to eat 8 ounces in one sitting? I thought most people were at 4 ounce per sittin vary intresting how plans vary.
  21. I . need to remember to count lol i just try to chew but cant be bothered to count lol
