  5. That is interesting. 30lbs in 6 months while a good rate for most. Is to slow for me. But I trust my doctor and the plan he has me on and I take all my Vitamins and blood work is fab! I'm fat and disabled so perhaps that's why I shouldn't go over 800 because I don't move as much as you eating 1200 I'd stay fat really. So I suppose it's individualised. I probably wouldn't lose much. My plans also balanced thank u for explaining it is good to learn about other plans Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app
  6. Are these low carb popcorn?[emoji23] Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app
  7. A 4 ounce steak will not do the same as ground beef or tuna. So don't lose hope. How far out are you ? My hunger settled almost went away month three. Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app
  8. I don't know you. But right after wls is the worst time to quit. The emotional rollercoaster the depression people encounter who didn't even have depression before. You have a long way to go and I would continue to take the pills if it were me. I stopped taking mine before. I swear I could have jumped off a bridge on a couple of occasions I was getting so angry and irritable. Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app
  9. I hate to be a kill joy but I had a sleeve and I'm sagging like crazy. 60lbs in 4/5m But it all depends on you what the best option is. Bypass scared me too I'm happy with the sleeve Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app

  12. I wouldn't have the required amount of fat. But keto foods being mainly protein and veggies would work. Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app
  13. You will also miss chewing for two weeks post op . So best to start getting used to it now. Plus 2 weeks on puree if that's on your plan Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app
  14. You can't eat anything that requires chewing because it's not on your plan. We won't know why you were given your specific plan because it takes in to consideration. Your hospital. Your surgeon. Your history . Weight and health. But to answer your question. Yes I was allowed to eat three times a day. But I opted to go for a liquid diet. That consisted of milk and jello which was an option for bigger people at this hospital. Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app
  15. Yes they are dense protein will fill you. Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app
  16. That is scary. I was told 1200 is maintanance. Not to go over 800 and I'm 5 months post 60lbs down. Amazing how plans vary I would love to see how your weightloss goes eating that amount. And how anyone manages it 6 week post. Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app

  22. You've done amazing. I didn't actually cook with oil till 4 months for whatever reason I just didn't want the added fat. It's not hiddered my weightloss which I was afraid of. With eating fast try and dedicate time to your meal and say you will eat over a course of time. Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app
  23. Even if there was. I wouldn't let it give you permission to start as it's a real health risk that the consequences can be really bad.

  25. You should ask more questions and for a clearer picture as some people's plans call for solids in the first week which I wouldn't unless on my plan. So best to ask them for more info. Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app
