My daughters do an awesome core work out but it doesn't deal with weights it is strictly like doing the ropes they also do planks they also do steam engines look up thoseCore exercises that sprinters and runners do and when you do core exercises it will transform your Stomach area and increase your Protein and will be looking at a six pack very soon
That's awesome! Do you know if they would have any specific workout routine suggestions?? Or if there is a workout premade that they use and how often to do it??

Thank you for your response!
I guess I just need a little more patience.
As far as stalling goes I typically lose a couple pounds and then stay the same for a week or so if not longer.
When I spoke to the lady in the surgeons office she said I should be losing quicker:/
I think I'm going to stick with low carbs and wait it out and see what happens -

I had surgery May 3rd. I'll be 6 weeks post op tmrw.
The day I went home from surgery I weighed 230lbs. I'm 5'8.
I'm somewhat stalling recently at 208. Spoke to my surgeon and told me I need to balance Protein and carbs. I take in about 70g of protein a day so I'm supposed to take in 70carbs a day as well and only eat when hungry.
Anyone given the same advice?

I'm 6 weeks post op and I think that started for me around 3 weeks.
I've noticed that when I get full my mouth will produce a ton of saliva to where I need to spit it out and sometimes multiple times. It's also worse if you over eat and get too full -
I turned 21 in April and in May had the surgery. You won't regret it!

My surgeon just informed me today that I need to be taking in the same amount of carbs a day as protein

My surgeon just informed me that we need to be matching Protein and carb intake. If you take 60g of protein then you take in 60 carbs

I was just told by my surgeon that you need to match your Protein intake to your carb intake. So if you take 60g of one then you take in 60g of the other

Thank you guys!!
So happy for all of us!
Those gas pains are no joke! Mine lasted for about 2 1/2 weeks after surgery and it was unbearable!
Good thing is that they eventually go away. Lol
Just spoke to my surgeon and was cleared to do anything I would like to do. [emoji33] So exciting. Not sure where to start.
But I did join a gym and I plan to be there at least 5 days a week. -

Surgery date was May 3rd 2017
Highest weight 249
Day I went home from surgery I weighed 230
Today I weight 212
First picture was before surgery in April. 2nd picture was from 2 days ago.
I can see progress and clothes are getting too big but I don't feel like the weight it coming off as quick as it is for others?
I walk everyday but I'm starting to go to the gym tomorrow. Any workout suggestions??

You look amazing! I'm 3 months post op and have lost 66lbs. My issue is my stomach area. Were you able to lose all of your stomach without having skin removed?? If so do you follow a workout plan that made that possible?
