  1. You look amazing! I'm 3 months post op and have lost 66lbs. My issue is my stomach area. Were you able to lose all of your stomach without having skin removed?? If so do you follow a workout plan that made that possible?

  13. 55.4lbs gone! Started at 250lbs & 5'8 I'm down to 194.6. Would like to hit 170 and then decide from there if I'd like to go any farther. Couldn't be happier though! All of the stalls are so worth it.
  14. That's awesome! Do you know if they would have any specific workout routine suggestions?? Or if there is a workout premade that they use and how often to do it??
  15. Sleeved on 5/3/17 about to hit week 7. Went home from surgery at 230lbs and now I'm down to 205lbs. My stomach is my only problem area that needs to go. Anyone else have this issue and have any successful workout routines to rid of it??
  16. Thank you for your response! I guess I just need a little more patience. As far as stalling goes I typically lose a couple pounds and then stay the same for a week or so if not longer. When I spoke to the lady in the surgeons office she said I should be losing quicker:/ I think I'm going to stick with low carbs and wait it out and see what happens
  17. Was told the lack of carbs to match the protein is why I've been stalling so much. I'm scared to up my carbs and gain though BUT the lady who works with the surgeon is actually a successful vsg patient which is a plus
  18. My mistake, I forgot to add what I actually take in. I take in about 70g of protein a day and maybe 10 carbs. I only eat grilled chicken for lunch and dinner and usually no snacks. Water throughout the day and my protein shake in the morning.
  19. I had surgery May 3rd. I'll be 6 weeks post op tmrw. The day I went home from surgery I weighed 230lbs. I'm 5'8. I'm somewhat stalling recently at 208. Spoke to my surgeon and told me I need to balance protein and carbs. I take in about 70g of protein a day so I'm supposed to take in 70carbs a day as well and only eat when hungry. Anyone given the same advice?
  20. I'm 6 weeks post op and I think that started for me around 3 weeks. I've noticed that when I get full my mouth will produce a ton of saliva to where I need to spit it out and sometimes multiple times. It's also worse if you over eat and get too full
  21. I turned 21 in April and in May had the surgery. You won't regret it!
  22. My surgeon just informed me today that I need to be taking in the same amount of carbs a day as protein
  23. My surgeon just informed me that we need to be matching protein and carb intake. If you take 60g of protein then you take in 60 carbs
  24. My surgeon just informed me that you need to take in equal amounts of carbs and protein a day and not worry about calories.
  25. I was just told by my surgeon that you need to match your protein intake to your carb intake. So if you take 60g of one then you take in 60g of the other
