  1. Only a small group of people know. I think a total of six, maybe. It's very personal. The weight isn't flying off such that I look crazy. People see that I've changed my habits and that I work out. So, when I have been asked I say: I made a big decision to make better choices about taking care of my body. I don't eat fried foods, drink alcohol, consume sugars or eat large portions. That's pretty much it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using BariatricPal mobile app
  2. I had my GS at the end of May. My stomach still feels bloated and heavy. Any suggestions? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using BariatricPal mobile app

  4. I got sleeved a few days prior and I've lost 25 pounds. I'm hoping to lose another ten before the end of the month. I've seen stalls. Mainly because I couldn't have a bowel movement. After drinking some dieters tea it helped. Are you regular? Stay with the plan. It'll work. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using BariatricPal mobile app

  8. I've shared my procedure with very few people. Next week I plan to see friends. If they ask why I'm not drinking, I'll explain that I gave it up for a while to live a more healthy lifestyle. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using BariatricPal mobile app
  9. It's tough, but doable. I've put myself on a schedule. Maybe that'll help you too. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using BariatricPal mobile app
  10. That's where I'm at; right between week 2 & 3 post op. I just tell myself that it's part of the process. Sadly, I don't even have a taste for anything. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using BariatricPal mobile app
  11. I have a little issue with sleeping. But, I'm only 8 days out, so there's still some swelling and incision discomfort. Have you tried sleepy time tea, or Tylenol PM? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using BariatricPal mobile app
  12. Do some cardio (walking, cycling etc), and maybe some stretches. That's my goal. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using BariatricPal mobile app
  13. I'm in the same boat. Literally. But, I'm sticking to it. Maybe, try some different protein shakes, or mix it with yogurt and truvia to give it some depth. Hang in there, we'll progress quickly. [emoji4] Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using BariatricPal mobile app
  14. I think she could halt any weight loss and probably tear her pouch. The rules are there for a reason. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using BariatricPal mobile app
  15. First, I'm wondering if she's hungry. I had my operation last week and haven't been hungry yet. Please encourage your sweetie to follow the rules, otherwise she'll damage her insides, fail to see results and everything will be in vain. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using BariatricPal mobile app
  16. You look great. May I ask if you had any sagging skin? That's my greatest fear Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using BariatricPal mobile app

  18. Not quite. But, I do remember not wanting to drink anything at all. My requirements were about 32 ounces per day via popsicle, broth and water. Just go slow and follow the process. It gets better. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using BariatricPal mobile app
  19. Well, today I'm nauseated. But, I'm moving around better. I still feel swelling and slight bloating in my tummy. I can't wait for that to go. I wish I could consume just something solid-ish. Nothing obnoxious, just chicken noodle soup or even some tuna. Blah. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using BariatricPal mobile app

  22. I'm one week out and was cleared to do cardio. So, I'd suggest doing some walking. That'll help with muscle tone, circulation and it won't be too abrasive. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using BariatricPal mobile app
