I am so happy to hear your post. I just had my second fill last week and I could eat Two chickens. So I will totally be scheduling for another fill. I can not wait to get to the point I am FULL.. Thanks again for your post...

GAG ..I sure hope you are able to get that first fill soon.. I was banded May 19th and have had two..Still not to that sweet spot but getting there ... I have gone through Weight LossInstitue of Arizona .. with Dr. DeBarros.. I absolutley love them ..Best care and the Drs are wonderful ..The whole staff is outstanding ...

Choromom My Drs insurance person told me that medicare patients are on the bottom of the list and I guess they only do a quota ..So I am so blessed I got it done before they start dropping Tri Care..Kind of embarrassing to know what they pay our surgeouns . Insky I am from CHandler now but noticed you are from TAmpa.. Would you believe I was raised in St. Pete .Haven't been back in years but love Florida and Arizona ...

I too am Tricare and was approved very quickly .. I wish though they were paying our Drs and hospitals more. Alot of places won't take Tricare becuase they don't pay .. When I saw what the Drs charged and what Tricare paid I was shocked. Tricare Rocks but the Drs aren't going to take our insurance anymore if they don't come around a bit . I love this new site ..Always felt Military is family ..We know what we are have and are going through .. Now we even have another band to hold us together..

This has been a wonderful post and one of the exact reasons we need to all vent and tell .. 80's girl you are awesome to share and learn .. I was getting to aggressive in my eating and not chewing as well and too big of bites .. Haven't had my second fill yet.. I am slowing down now and going back to the basics .. I had my removed also before my surgery.. A lot of people have trouble with the gall bladder after surgery ..Weight loss can cause in some people gall stones ..So we have our out of the way and good to go ...

I use them and they are ok . I mix it with juice and it tastes pretty good .I use the IDS protein shots ..Just google and you can find them and Isopure is good also ..Also your vitamin stores should carry them also . It is a good way to get in your protein ...

Hey jb and everyone ,, I too am having a hard time at this point. I got my first fill last week and feel I can eat more after the fill than before. I am hoping the second fill (which I am going to schedule today for as soon as I can get it ) will help.. Lived in St Pete for over 20 years.

Grieving is hard but it is a process we just have to endure when we love these little guys like we do .. I too had my first fill yesteray and I feel I have no restriction either.. Will go back in 4 weeks and maybe they will bump it up and I will have better restriction...

I am a Benefiber girl too ..Have it everymorning with my tea.. You can even sprinkle it on food too if need be ... No taste and not thick ...
