Good for you! I am in the soft food stage and went to a work lunch last week. I ordered fish, as it seemed to be the "softest" protein there. It was ok, I guess. The big test for me came with desserts - which have always been my downfall; I shared dessert with two colleagues and it was the first time I'd had sugar since prior to the pre-op diet. I had three spoonfuls and really enjoyed what I had, but figured if I ate more, I'd start to feel sick and/or regret it. I was SO proud of myself for not turning into a sugar-seeking monster (which I had feared) and that I could have a small quantity but still really enjoy it. It's so lovely to have these kind of "victories" over food like this.
