Yep my port definately sticks out, it is on my slimmest part of me the waist, but i suppose none see it. i would rather be getting slim with a bump, rather than being one big big bump.

Will try and not eat too much, dont think been filled enough yet maybe.

Will check the thread under weight watchers, thanx keep forgetting about the threads.

I am going to try weight watchers, with ww and the band should -- will do it this time and keep the weight off.

After reading everyones comments, sounds like need a fill, not having one till 28 april, shit long time.

Was thinking of joining weight watchers, but not telling them have had lap banding. Is anyone doing weight watchers? any good??? I did it years ago but kept putting the weight on due to not having my helping lapband.

Is it safe to use nicabate Patches, or gum or lozenges after being lap banded, have been banded 6 months now??

Yuck those Protein Drinks, i have fresh strawberries and skim milk , or bannana and skim milk in blender, try adding some malt -- yum and not as many calories as in those yuc yuck shakes.Give it a try and let me know.

Why is it for first week after fill you eat very little and then .......

mmh that makes med definately think twice now, as my fatty bit is around thighs - but hey realistically can cover up and only my partner sees that bit, and with clothes on have curves in the right places

Had my lap banding sept 2007, now more and more noticeable- yes the weightloss and the port. When move it sticks up as lye down in bed. I just posted a few moments before reading this post to ask if anyone had a low profile port,posted under the general section.Cheers we await everyones relpy. Oh my port is just below my waist line.

What happens with fat cells? was told as you lose weight they stay, if put on double more. wieght of they stay, then double weight on again. So for yoyo dieters only way to get rid of them is liposuction? ?:teeth_smile:

Well stomache ulcers serious stuff, more reason to give up for me.And sounds like that doctor is serious if he takes blood tests to verify.

Thank you everyone, knowing that the port /band may corrode, and all the other messages have made me decide got to quit, going to do it this time, am doing it with the weight now to the rest of my health - quitting, will keep you all informed. Thank you if it wasnt for you guys dont thing i would have made the move to say now yes now is the time.:smile:

How do you atop pb , i was told you need to chew everything 25 times nd only take small bites? Any foods even if you do this do you still pb? i tend to have problems with skin of potatoes if rosted nothin else been banded since sept 2007 but think need to hve tighter.
