    Ok thats it we going to tell ourselves we not really hungry, we going to drink water and keep ourselves busy ---- we going to get that weight off.

    Went to surgeon last week, I told him I am getting hungrier than normal , but he said am doing really well so far and he does not feel I need a fill and will see me in another 3 months, ooohhhh, but now use more willpower I guess, gee seems not drinking the water does make a difference.I try to be good an walk most days.

    I feel confident down76lb since sep 2007 but not when undressed even in front of mum wont get undressed as my legs and tummy are so so wrinckled and my arms oh gosh, but got to save and save to get some plastic surgury done, keep buying clothes to make myself feel good -- all from op shops but still costing me a packet, but must say love my new wardrobe and how i look dressed. but undressed ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

    I asked my store to get in some light laughing cow cheese, and some baby belle. Had some parmesan -- mmh yum could not find one that said low fat however.

    Hey don't look at it that way, it is a new way of life, we will have lapses but slim people have that drink, that cake, etc, now and then, it is not what you have in one meal -- think of it as being overall what you have in the 3 meals and 2 snacks a day over 365 days of the year. Hey and now you are probably more active than you had been before.

    I have no problem with eggs unless it has mayo with it. Try poached eggs.

    Will ask my store if they can get the light laghing cow cheese in, and forgot about parmesan -- use to always eat that, next time go to store will get a piece as is nice and strong tasty and can chew and chew on it.
  8. I went to Macdonalds today and had nearly half a quarter pounder and 6 chips, stopped because was certain could eat that entire burger and more. Lucky i had the willpower to stop --- that would have been a whole if not more than one days calories in the whole burger. I told my friends we could go eat somewhere else but they all said no, and later i thought gee i was just making an excuse for myself i only looked at the burgers , i think they have salads, i know they have healthy rolls. Well i chewed and chewed and did not get sick. How did you cope with eating out at fast food places with friends? did you say you were not hungry and just have a coffee ---- thought i could of done that.

  10. BrandyII, I was thinking if you have time why don't you email the major pharmacutical companies and ask them what they recommend? They will say discuss with your doctor but at least you will have definate facts. All the best, keep us informed then we will all know , thanx.

    Day to day...always different

    Funny enough today is the first time i had problems eating my small tin of tomatoe and onion tuna on crackers, have been banded in sep 2007.

    I just had corn with my dinner, have corn few times a week never had problems I have been banded since sep 2007. Popcorn I havent tried but even before banding tended to choke on it so will give it a miss now. Potatoe skin got a little stuck once but i was not sick, but must admit the potatoe and the dry roasted skin were both tough, havent tried the potatoe skin again but the inside of the potatoe ohhh yummy.

I HAD the same problem spoke to my surgeon who advised when people normally need to empy bowles -- should say it is a sign that people need to empy their bowles it is common that this happens, he told me too eat more fibre and i take benefibre and eat prunes every day or every second, no problems since.

    My port is FLIPPED!!!

    My port sticks up near waistline and when i lye down and go to roll over it really sticks up,dr said is no prob he is going to stitch down on that side so does not move.

    I dont have a partner, but see someone at the moment, would love to meet someone serious and new.but ... have saggy skin everywhere and the big lump that moves when turn over where the lap band is so couldnt feel comfortable at the moment getting underessed in front of someone.

  19. I range between 1200 to 1500 / 1800 per day,but no real excercise, and know that you have been excercising and being strict, i thought i was going great but not as good as you,got to get the excercise in even if dont cut the calories, i have lost 74lb since 18 sep 2007.
  20. I had tried various depressants before, found each time i went on zoloft lost weight it was like an appitite suppresent in itself.

    7 months out now

    I am loving the comments i am getting - i would love to be as slim as you, i am not a my goal weight yet, had lap band 18 sep 2007, should of done it ages ago, have changed my way of eating for life now, and starting now with the excercise too.
  23. Has anyone bought a boddybug in Perth, western australia, how mach, -- boddybug measures calories in and calories burned, where did you buy it from? Thanx.
  24. Does anyone weigh the food so you know correct portion sizes, what foods do you weigh, and how much of the food do you have size wise grams /onces etc. Do you find doing this to be helpful?? How long did you weigh your foods for? or are you still weighin them. A you keeping a calorie food diary, and excercise diary to??
