    Am I wasting my time

    Thank you
  2. Just curious, I have insurance through the government. My doctor is having me go through the whole process . Does government ins pay for the sleeve ? I don’t pay for my ins
  3. My plan was to just attend the support meetings but to continue my Bariatric eating and just to use them as a weekly discipline group and weigh in . My job pays for WW but also paid for my surgery . Definitely have no interest in making friends there since I would have nothing in common with anyone . I am seeing a nutritionist but I feel like they rush me in and out and I don't learn anything . She gives me the same crappy menu every month when I go . The old me always wanted to be a lifetime member at WW [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]and I couldn't even lose 5 pounds . Maybe I just want to say haha I did it who knows . But I can tell you that since my surgeon only sees me every 3 months now, since my last visit I have been careless since I know I don't have to answer to anyone until the end of September. I haven't lost and am playing with the same 3 pounds .
  4. Both my parents lost 100 pounds doing WW and kept it off . Me not so much I couldn't do it . Money is not the issue for me $15 dollars a week is not going to kill me . I think it will be interesting to hear other people's success and failures that's how I will continue to learn . I can still continue my Bariatric eating staying away from carbs and sugars and continue to eat high protein . I think I will be more aware of what I'm eating .i am finding the maintenance phase to be the hardest so far . The weekly discipline is what I need .
  5. Is it crazy to join Weight Watchers ?? I had my surgery 1 year ago lost 100 pounds [emoji4][emoji4][emoji4] Just had a breast reduction June 12 . Feeling awesome .I can't find a nutritionist that is the least bit helpful . ( couldn't find one I liked before my surgery either ) My weigh ins now are 3 months apart instead of monthly . That's not going to work for me I need the monthly discipline, and to be honest weekly discipline works even better for me . I understand that I would continue to stay away from sugar and carbs . Is this a crazy idea ??

    Nosey co workers

    Thanks that's what I thought .
  8. If I choose not to tell anyone at work is there any way they can find out from my health insurance (that they pay for ) what I had done ? My plan is just to take a leave of absence .
  9. If I choose not to tell anyone at work is there any way Human Resources can find out what I had done ?

    Secondary insurance

If I have a bill that was denied by my primary insurance because it was out of network, but my secondary pays out of network benefits can I send it to the secondary ?
  11. Has anyone gotten a breast reduction after their surgery ? I went to see a plastic surgeon for a lift and was informed if I get a reduction it would be covered 100% by my insurance . They automatically do a lift with a reduction which is much needed after losing 85 pounds with my sleeve. I have plenty to spare so I am considering it . Can anyone share their experiences or offer any advice ?
  12. My surgery was 8/31 . I have lost 85 pounds . Kind of stuck now and the scale is moving about 5 pounds a month. I started at 276 and now I am 191. Feel great and am definitely losing inches . No regrets !!

    11 months post-op stall

Omg I just posted almost the same exact question . I've only lost 12 pounds in the last 3 months . I'm 8 months post op and about 25 pounds from goal . I've lost 85 lbs total . It's so frustrating . How many grams of protein are you eating ?
  14. I am 8 months post op . My last three weigh ins I lost 6 pounds , four pounds and this month 2 pounds . I am at a total of 85 pounds . I'm feeling a little disappointed. 12 pounds in 3 months is so little for as hard as I am working . My surgeon says The weight loss will taper off since I only have about 25 pounds to go . But I will still lose inches . Is anyone else experiencing this ??
