I have lost so much hair to the point where I want to cry. I know it will come back in but I've been losing it for about a month or so now.. I'm 5 months post op RNY. Hopefully I see some regrowth soon!


I've started to take Biotin 20,000 much and using Shampoo and conditioner with biotin and collagen. I'm still losing hair but not as much and it looks thicker now. I can't wait until this part is over. My surgery was April 12th 2017, RNY also!

How much hair can one expect to lose?

I had gastric bypass so my food right now is high Protein Shakes and liquids. 14 days post op

I feel like I'm not sure what to eat besides a shake and liquids lol. I'm just lost so yup there it is...

I will add that I'm 13 days post op!

Can't get enough Water in. Can't get enough Protein in. When I eat I'm supposed to wait 30 minutes to drink but when I eat (now) I feel very dehydrated so I want to drink. Help please!!!!!

I got the same surgery on the same day. I also lost the same amount of weight. However, I've not been so active. Today is the first day of my phase 2. I think it's different for everyone. Congratulations and good luck!
