  1. I got my biopsy results back today. I am so thrilled to be able to tell you all the biopsy is benign. Thank the Lord o:) there is NO Cancer. Now I go back to the breast surgeon, get insurance approval again and go to the Plastic Surgeon to get these hugmongous breast and excess skin off my chest. Who knows maybe it will even help my back so I can walk again without the back surgery

  2. Day 11 pre-op:

Another busy day. My baby girl turned 4 today. Had her party today as well. Didn't want to do it on the weekend...way too busy at those kid pizza places. Anyway, forgot about water during the party, I'm parched. Will need to get better at that (being super busy and drinking water). I ate a salad with the most ridiculous amount of grilled chicken on it. I even questioned the oz. Hmm....?

Anyway, had appt with the surgeon yesterday and my post op directions. All is well. Labs were perfect. Took a mini test, he said I got a 100 and there was nothing to school me on. Nut went over post op directions. Main keys are:

    1) eat when you're hungry. 2) water, water, water  3) get protein in

no counting calories, etc  good! I have to learn to listen to my body, as I've always known that's the way for me. It's what I used to do at my healthy weight, so I know I can and will do it again.

Three more days of pre-op. The end is near to the beginning of another chapter.

  3. 5/10 - When to the gym before work to get in a 1 workout. The trainer is cool, she is really into auras and energy. Of course I find out my energy is all wrong. I need to become one with my inner self and she said I needed to get a massage to loosen up my muscles. I am a tense person physically. Overall, relieved a lot of stress. The personal trainer is like a mixture of a zen person with massive knowledge of working out. It's actually not bad. She is a beast and pushes you. The nice part is the first 15 minutes is just meditation and stretching. She gets your muscles ready. Her stretches are equal to a full workout for me lol. I was already sweating and asking or water. Had liquids all day. Protein shakes and water. I was really behind on the water part.

5/11 - Made Pesto Chicken. Does not sit well in my sleeve at all. Gave me the rumbly in my tumbly. Had a half of protein shake. I was not very hungry today. Made catfish and did not like it either, actually dumped. Hello Fresh is not the option, cancelling the subscription. It is not them, I just keep looking at their recipes and it is high in carbs and calories and I just do not think now is the time to be adventurous with food. After trying 2 meals and getting sick twice in one day, really threw my plans off. Silver lining, laid in bed and just slept.

  4. Well thank goodness...I thought it was pre-op diet day 8, but it's really 9.  So, today went just ok again.  Will be busy tomorrow so I need to make sure I have stuff handy while I'm out and about.  I've noticed I've been on edge with my kids, hubby, work, and all the posts about genepro, stalls, and stretching the sleeve...doing my best to contain myself.  I know most of it is in my head, cause my body is being sustained with something at least.  Sucks to not eat a regular healthy meal, but hey, it's all for my health and it's temporary. I think I'll take a break tomorrow from logging in...I need to breath.  :)

Ya'll have a blessed night and great day tomorrow!

  6. Day 6 Pre-Op:

Hardest so far because it's the weekend. Family wanted tacos this morning and I couldn't have one. But I did well despite my feelings. Stayed very busy today. Got home from visiting with a new friend who will be having the sleeve too. Now I'm super tired.

Starbucks...I saw this on Pinterest. I got a tall two decaf espresso shots over ice and poured about 1/2 of a Snickerdoodle protein drink in it. It was soooo good! Next time I'll use a Pumpkin spice one. 😊 Yum!

  7. Had my breast biopsy yesterday. Results should be told to me on Wednesday. Friends please  pray it is benign and the excess skin removal surgery can be reschedule soon. It has been 6 weeks since it was canceled. Never thought it would take that long to schedule a biopsy.

  9. Day 7 pre-op:

So much easier when I've got work/routine. The weekend was brutal but I made it through. I've got a busy week, so hopefully it'll fly by.

  10. surgery tomorrow , nervous but excited :/

Liquid diet update : not hungry , still drinking the carnation though as needed.

Have a beautiful day everyone !

  11. 5/6 - Woke up bruised and sore from my gym incident. I just went to work and minded my business. I was not really in the mood for people. Nothing special happened.

5/7 - Got into it with an employee. He got in my face and that was it. My manager had to get involved. He really pushed my buttons. I repeatedly said that I was not talking about him. I was having a discussion with my manager in regards to call roll overs and this idiot decided to interject himself. He is not a Supervisor. He felt as though I was speaking about him when I was speaking about a fellow Supervisor (He is not even a permanent employee. He is seasonal). I advised him 6 times that I was not and then told him to go back to work and do his job. He then got up and got in my face. I told my Manager that this is the second time he has done that and he cannot come back here next year for the season. I told my Manager, I will be nice and work with him for the remaining time that they are here but I will be sending an email to HR. This the last time he will be able to do that. My Manager was very understanding, noting that I am not an aggressive person. Everyone who works with me knows that I am the best person to work for. I like having fun and joking around.

  12. So march 23rd i got my beloved Tina removed.... it has been hard and scary, but i'm crusing to month #2 with no weight gain... hopefully i can keep this up.

  14. 5/5 - I cooked my asparagus, provolone stuffed chicken. I added a picture. I went to the gym (crunch-his gym) with my boyfriend and embarrassed myself. There was a huge dude, built like Arnold Schwarzenegger in his younger years. I was thinking how does he wipe his butt lol. I kept staring at him. I ended up tripping over my own feet and flew off the treadmill into the back wall. I have some scrapes and soreness but I am good. My bf got me a ice pack and proceeded to scold me for staring. He said, "That's what you get for staring at people and not focusing." I said, "Can you blame me? I have never seen someone that huge in my entire life." He just laughed. He checked my head to make sure that I did not hit it. He then took me to Red Mango so I could some frozen yogurt on my bruised ego.

  15. I woke up early this morning, 5:45am.  I felt great, tons of energy, no hunger, no pain.  So it was time to go for a walk.  Grabbed my iPhone and headphones and headed out.  Not a long walk, just about 1.5miles, back home in 30 minutes, and paid for it the rest of the day.  Totally exhausted, stomach gurgling, gas pains, nasty headache, just felt like $hit.  The only advice I can give anyone from this - is don't be like and don't be stupid.  Going to take it a little easier tomorrow - will still try for a walk, but not as long and not as quick.

  24. Day #4 of 14 PRE-OP DIET

My day started at 12:38 am (thankfully I went back to sleep)....I was jolted awake by a bang on/in our house.  I looked over towards the living area and I see flashes of light going on.  I instantly reached for my gun, but it was so dark, I ended up knocking over some essential oils.  Finally got it and took the safety off.  I'm walking with it down, ready to shoot if I need to.  I kept seeing the flashes of light.  So, just as when I turn the corner, a huge sound of THUNDER happened, and then lighting flashed everywhere!!!  BAHAHAHAJAJAJAJA!   It was a darn storm that came in.  SMH.  I texted my husband (he works nights) and told him what happened.  He LOL'd and says I need to practice with getting it out.  Well, at least I was ready to shoot if I had to.  Ain't no body coming in my house uninvited, ya'll.  Newme17's got a gun!

Ok, so the diet..... way better than the first three days.  It's almost to the point that I can care less about food anymore.  My family cooks something (in the microwave--renovation still on; or eat food out) and it might smell good, but I'm not wanting it.  I've found that I've been craving chicken broth most of the time; it hits the spot for me .  I love to drink hot liquids too, so I take advantage of the decaf coffee I can have too.  So, did all of my liquids/protein today, had 2 cups of salad, with 4oz chicken breast, and 1 tbsp. light dressing.  I don't care for much dressing on salads anyway, so when I actually measured a tbsp, I was proud of myself, because that's about how much I've always put on salads.  :) Go me!

Should just get easier....I've got this down.  Oh...best part, my jeans went on like butter today.  No sucking, pulling, pushing to get them on.  Yay!

  25. Crap....so I ran out of ready made protein shakes and ran to Walmart before work.  Picked up Slimfast protein drinks, mocha cappuccino.  Started drinking it...yum.  Anyway, it says "as much caffeine as a cup of coffee"...darn it.  Can't have caffeine now...thankfully it was two sips.  Guess they'll be sitting in the fridge for quite a while! I don't have anything on hand at work but one broth and water....ugh.
