  1. congratulations, you look fantastic. I was noticing that you don't have a lot of sagging skin. Are you exercising a lot? Also, how many grams of protein do you think you eat in a day? Do you still do the shakes or do you find protein in other sources of food? Sorry about all the questions but I have hit a stall and any help you give me would-be great. Did you hit stalls along the way?
  2. Thank you for the good ideas. I completely forgot about cottage cheese. I'm going to get some of that and some shrimp. Yum!
  3. Thank you so much. I'm going to try the deviled eggs for sure. I think I also need to stop weighing myself every single day. It's just that I've been stuck at the same weight for about 5 weeks. I think I need to increase my protein intake too. Do you eat the 60 g of protein a day? do you drink a lot of water? I don't. May I ask how you did it? I'm 8 months post o.o and stalled at 50 for about 5 weeks. What was your diet and exercise routine? Thanks
  4. How long did it take you to lose all the weight? I'm 8 months postopand only down 50. I've hit a stall. Any tips? Thanks
  5. You're journey sounds similar to mine. I'm 61, had surgery 9/23/16 but I'm currently 191. You've lost about 19 pounds more than me. I've hit a stall. Any tips? What does your typical diet and exercise routine look like? I'm thinking I need to increase protein and water. Any tips will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  6. May I ask how you did it? I'm 8 months post o.o and stalled at 50 for about 5 weeks. What was your diet and exercise routine? Thanks
  7. Wow! Congratulations, you look great. Would you mind giving me some pointers? I'm 8 months post op and only down 50. I'm getting discouraged. I'd appreciate any tips. Thanks
  8. Great job! Can you share any tips? I'm 8 months post op and down 50. I really thought it would be more than this by this point. I started at 241 so very similar to you. Can you share any helpful hints with me? Thanks
  9. Thanks for getting back-to me. I think I need to increase my protein and water intake. That is going to be my goal this week. I've been at a style for a couple of weeks. Perhaps this will help
  10. What are your protein and water goals? Do you keep track of carbs?
  11. Wow! What an accomplishment! Keep up the good work. Any advice you can share? I'm 7 months postop and only down 50.
  12. Thanks so much for getting back to me. I really appreciate your input. You are so right, this is not an easy way out. It takes work, commitment and determination. I am 7 months out and I've been stalled for a few weeks now. I went to the nutritionist last week and she said I'm not eating enough protein and also my calorie intake is too low. I bought some premier protein boxes and I'm hoping that helps. There are 30 grams of protein in each drink box. I also upped my exercise. Do you eat 6 small meals a day? I don't but I will try doing that and see if it helps. Good luck with your journey. Wishing you continued success.
  13. That's wonderful, congratulations! MY I ask how you've changed things up? I've hit a stall too.
  14. Thank you so much for sharing your tips with me. I feel as though my weight loss has been pretty slow. I am continuing to lose, but very slowly. I hope your daughter is ok. That must be very very stressful. Wishing you and her all the best. Thanks again
  15. You look great! Would you please share your regime, such as diet and exercise? You'very lost so much so quickly. I'm at a stall. Hoping you can give me some pointers.
  16. I had my surgery in September of 2016. I have lost 44 pounds to date. I know many people have lost much more than this. I think the main problem is that I have not been very good about exercising. Is there anyone out there that began their exercise routine five or six months after surgery? I'm wondering if it is too late? I suppose it is never too late to begin exercising. Also, How much protein do most of you eat in a day? I'm wondering if I'm not getting enough protein. Would increasing the protein help me lose more?
