PRE-OP ANIEXTY
Hey girl! I have slight anxiety issues and my surgery is the same day as yours! It's going to be ok. You signed up for this for the same reason I did, to get health and live a better life. You got this. It's normal to have pre-surgery jitters but it's going to be so worth it in the end. P.S. I sent you another Pm.

I don't think I'm gonna make it.
I'm on day 8 of my liquid diet. I'm down 11 lbs. every day is a struggle. I don't even want to eat bad food, I just want to chew something. The worst part of his is I have a texture issue and can't even force myself to eat the sugar free jello or yogurt because it makes me gag. I also don't like coffee. Anyone have any tips for the next week? P.S. I'm refusing to leave my house for the Memorial Day BBQ's because that'll put me right over the edge! Thanks in advance. You guys are always so great!

Those of you 5 months post op...
Thank you all for the responses and also for letting me know I won't have a problem being active! I have so many excursions set up and I didn't even think about whether or not I would be able to do them! I really appreciate your answers!

Those of you 5 months post op...
Or those of you passed that point but that can remember that time.... My surgery is 5/31 and I'm going on my honeymoon in October and we're going to Europe. I obviously know I will be eating much, much less but I want to be able to taste different foods without eating everything in sight like I normally would. Is that something that's possible at 5 months or will I still not be eating real foods? I understand the sleeve is a tool, and I intend to use it that way, I'm just more interested to see if I'll be eating regularly (for a sleeved person) at that time or still introducing foods. Thanks!

Realistic weightloss question for 208lb start.
My dress can be taken in a few inches on each side, plus it's a corset back so I'm hoping it'll be ok.

Realistic weightloss question for 208lb start.
That's what I'm worried about. Being smaller plus PCOS, plus figuring out the right amount to avoid starvation mode. I'm worried that even after surgery it'll be as difficult of an uphill battle as it's always been!

May Sleevers?
Don't be discouraged. Your body IS healing and once it's done you'll see weight loss.

Thankfully, I'm the smallest... not mommy haha.

Realistic weightloss question for 208lb start.
Well, I already ordered the dress but it's a corset and the only measurement needed was right under my bust where, thankfully, mommy smallest and there's not much fat to be lost. I ordered it because it was the last day to order from this designer and I fell in love with it, also, I didn't know if I was even going to get approved for surgery. I'm hoping that since the measurements were only in the one spot it won't be too terrible, also I opted for one size smaller than I measured at because regardless of surgery I was going to do anything I could to finally lose weight. Thank you for your reply. I really appreciate it. I'm a nervous wreck as it is with the wedding and then I panicked that I wouldn't even have a dress!

Insecure Ex
I haven't gotten my sleeve yet (5/31) and my fiancé asks me if I'm still going to love him when I lose weight. To me, it's crazy, but I can understand the insecurity because it's something you hear about. What they don't understand is that majority of people who lose dramatic weight quickly still see themselves as heavy and that's not something that (sometimes) ever goes away. But yeah, you're not the only one going through that haha.

Realistic weightloss question for 208lb start.
Hello all, I am scheduled for 5/31 and I am getting married in October. My current weight is 208 (I have a heart condition and PCOS, so I qualified for surgery). I'm wondering how much weight someone at my size can lose in the 4 months after surgery. I'm concerned about having my dress taken in and whether or not it will fit for the wedding so any input from someone who started around my size would be so greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Pre op diet
I don't have kids, but I'm doing it for me. It's a struggle every day, but I'm doing it.

Shakes.
Unfortunately, I'm one of the few people who hate coffee [emoji30]. I've tried making the shakes into puddings and with ice and it's just so terrible. I'm pushing myself and my fiancé is doing it with me, god bless him, but 2 weeks is so long!

Pre op diet
The shakes I am having can also be puddings and that's what held me over yesterday's but today I'm just sick of it. I want salt. Anything with salt. Maybe even just salt by itself at this point! I have another 8 days, and idk if I can do it!

Psychological Evaluation
I'm sorry you went through that. My psychologist and I really just had a normal lengthy conversation about life and she didn't accuse or ask too many questions. Even though she didn't ask questions I know I gave her the information she needed because she put me at ease. I'm so sorry you had a bad experience! But it's over now!
