  1. I am 6 months post o.o Sleeve surgery. I was 255 and now I am 168. I am not eat I g properly because i still feel like I'm fat. Just the smell of food makes me sick. I have also been having complications like severe stomach pain and throwing up after eating the smallest amount of food. Everything tastes different to me and that is another reason why I do not want to eat. I would be very content Sri king Premire Protein Shakes and bars for the rest of my life.

  2. Both I g wrong with that. Lol

Its not what you eat for me, its all about what kind of person you are and can you accept a man that likes to fuss over you. I met a woman and I fussed over her like calling her after work to see how her day was, or texting in the morning before she went to work to say have a great day. She told me I was moving too fast. I thought I was just treat g her the way she should be treated. I would live to have a woman who fussed over me. What's that like? Lol.

  3. That's a great attitude you have. I have on my experience that if you ask a woman to a ball game or a nice place for dinner they give you the slow down tiger bullshit. I am to do g that every woman is different and if you try to be respectful and not too fast and you invite to meet for coffee you are labeled like you just did. Its impossible to figure out the right way to start. I personally don't like when a woman says slow down tiger when all I'm tryi g to do is get to know her. Then sometimes I spend a good amount meet I g someone for dinner and they decide they don't want to see me again for whatever reason and cannot even be decent enough to tell me. They just ignore my messages, then I feel I just wasted $150 or whatever it cost. Might not be an issue for you, but I don't want to waste my money on someone who doesn't have a clue what they want. Can't win no matter what we do. I don't think asking a woman out to an event or a nice dinner is moving too fast and I'm not just trying to get in her pants. I want to know as much as I can about her and you cannot get that from email or texts.

  4. You are so correct. That to me is a sign of a very shallow person. This surgery is a difficult adventure as it is without negative people like that. I usually don't even get to telling them about my surgery because I have to tell them that I am also disabled. I an sorry this is happening to you. You are an extremely beautiful woman inside and out. I hope things change for the better. It will. I'm sure.

  8. I'm not talking about going out and meeting someone. I'm talking about when someone sends you a message and the only thing you have to do is reply thank you but I'm not intetested. That's all. It's not hard. It has nothing to do with not knowing how hard it is for women on dating sites. I would think that if it were a guy that was going to do so me to you, he would only get more angry if you ignore him. That is not a normal reaction from most men. They just want to be acknowledged for taking the time to reach out to a woman. Now if his message is inappropriate in any way, by all me and you should ignore him and block him. You are not aware of what men have to go through on here with all these women with six different profile, all with the same picture but a different name and location. They get to know you and then they try to get money from you. I get messages from these scammers at least 10 times a day. That really sycks. They really break your heart.

  9. It is amazing how many women cannot even bother to reply to a message even if they are not intetested. It takes a minute to say thank you but I am not intetested. They ate just plain ignorant. They should honored that someone took the time to message them, I know I am when I get a message.

Hi John. Thank you so much. I do know how hard it is only because my grandmother had a gastric bypass quite a few years ago and had a tough time with gaining some of her weight back after five years of losing/maintaining. WIthout her support, I would probably not go through with this at all. She has been my rock, and while my mother isn't dieting or going through this, she has been supportive as well. Thanks for the luck and I'll be sure to contact you if I have any questions. :)

Hello Andrea. I want to first congratulate you on having the courage to have this surgery. I am almost 3 months post op and I have to say that you have to be 100 percent sure this is what you want to do. I was 254 pounds before surgery and now I am 199. I look great but I am having a hard time with the final food stage. It seems nothing agrees with my new stomach. All food tastes horrible to me. I have an Iron deficiency and that could be changing my taste buds. I was supposed to get off the Protein Shakes but am now back on them to reach my daily goals. I thought this would be the easiest part. It is a very difficult thing to go through but it will be worth it in the end. I am happier about myself and can now look in a mirror. I have not had any issues with sagging skin. All my weight was in my belly. Please feel free to ask me anything at lindenmanjj@gmail.com, and anytime. Best of luc

  12. Looking for a woman in Bensalem are who has been through weight loss surgery to share experience with and perhaps something more. I am 51 years old and live with my 10 pound killer Chihuahua Barkley. Hate being single and having a partner would make things so much easier. You must love going to the beach though. My favorite place.

    Thank you

    John

  13. You have every right to be nervous. This is a major surgery and a lifetime commitment. you. It will be very difficult at times, but when the weight starts falling off, you will feel like you are on top of the world. Then you will experience things like taste changes and it will be frustrating. I have never lost my appetite like they told me. The most difficult part for me is eating slow and not drinking at the same time. I keep a picture of my fat body on my fridge and in my wallet and when I get discouraged, I just look at the picture and it is all worth it. You will do just fine and you will get over it. The time does go pretty quickly.

I wish you so much success in your new journey and remember it really is a major and lifetime commitment.

  14. Hello. My name is John. I had Gastric Sleeve surgery on January 9th in Abington Hospital in Pennsylvania. I have lost 52 pounds so far and have bottomed out. I am now on the final stage of unrestricted foods. My doctor told me to start getting off the Protein Shakes. As I have seen online, the surgery changes your taste buds. Nobody ever told about that before the surgery. I love seafood and now I cannot eat it. I also have no desire to eat other foods like chicken, vegetables, pizza, and just about everything I try to eat. Nothing tastes good to me. NOTHING. Some people say that will go away and then some people say it will never go away. I am very concerned because I have gone back to the Premire Protein shakes with 30 grams of protein. My doctor and Nut will not be happy with this. I guess I should call them and tell them what is going on. I also have had a cold since I came out of surgery. It will not go away. Also my hemoglobin has been low since July of 2016. Blood work was just taken at the oncologist on Friday and I am awaiting the results. He tells me that the cold and the low hemoglobin have nothing to do with the surgery. I am very weak, and so tired all the time. I am not able to do the required exercise (walking on treadmill). I'm sure my doctor will not be happy about that either.

Has anyone had any of these problems and di they go away. I was told that as far as the taste goes, that I should suck on sugar free mints all day and that will change my taste buds. So far it has done nothing but give me nice fresh breath . Lol

    Thank you

    John
