Nausea - when will it go away?
I am now 28 days post-op and the nausea is worse. I have been re-admitted twice and DON'T want that to happen again if I can help it! I have been put back on liquids so hopefully that helps. The nausea meds really don't work for me. I am battling discouragement.

Looking for a Gastric Bypass Mentor / Buddy
Do you find that one day a food is okay and then the next day it makes you very sick? That's been my problem. I've been getting in my protein and liquids okay but almost all food tastes sour to me. I am three weeks out from surgery...

Vitamins making me sick
I am not vomiting from the vitamins but they make me very nauseated. I use the once a day chewable bariatric ones . I am trying splitting them in half and eating them slowly over a half hour or so and that has helped slightly. I was told by Cleveland Clinic that I could never use gummies as they aren't absorbed. I plan on asking about other choices at my next appointment. Has anyone tried the liquid vitamin machine that looks like a keurig that uses disks? ( I think it's called Tespo)

Bypass for less than 100 lbs
I've had terrible GERD for years. I too have less than 100 pounds to loose but I have medical complications..( two hernias, one of which was giant along with gastroparesis and more) my doctor told me that the RNY was the best choice for me and that if I didn't lose and keep off the weight my hiatal hernia could return in as little as three months. I am two weeks post op and although it's a struggle, I'm glad I made this choice.

Nausea - when will it go away?
Me too. I had to get a nausea shot and more nausea pills to take.
