    Update

    I took off 4 weeks
  2. I was sleeved April 4. Prior to surgery on pre op I lost 15. I am 5'3.5. As you can see it fluxes each month and the process does slow down. I went from a size 24/ 3x to a Large 12/14. My goal from my doctor is 130 but I am going for 150. August was tough as the scale didn't move. I had to look at measurements to see the progression. My doctor is sort of rude and has been on me about my progress. I am doing all the right things. Sw: 230 Pre op: 215 April : 204 down 11 May: 191 down 13 June: 186 down 5 July: 182 down 4 August: 179.6 down 2.4 Sept: current weight 177.6 Total Loss: 52.4
  3. I vomit a lot. Not fun at all. I get a lot of foamies too. My stomach is very sensitive to food and anything can set it off. Doesn't always have to do with eating fast for me. Literally can't eat eggs, cherries or the flavor and the list goes on

    opinions on fruit?

I enjoy grapes, peaches and pears

    Chicken wings and worry

My surgeon actually recommended chicken wings to me. Breast is actually tough meat where wings are softer and fattier. These are easier for the stomach. I think you will find some things will turn your stomach eventually

You could have stricture so I would be calling your doc asap

    opinions on fruit?

Yes! I do pears and peaches because they are soft. However I don't eat them all the time

10 days post op & vomiting

Honestly I am 2 months out and I vomit. My stomach restriction is severe. Also I can not eat any sort of gluten or I throw up. You are still early out so maybe take it even slower. Your stomach is trying to figure itself out. If you get nervous call your dr!
  9. Yea I threw up once... it was horrific but totally necessary and I learned a lesson
  10. I was sleeved April 4 and I just went back to working at home for a week and am allowed to work in ththe office next week. I took short term disability and it is worth it because I feel like I have a better understanding of food I can and can not eat.
  11. Yep it finally happened I was sleeved 4/4. And I'm still learning my restrictions as some days I can eat something and it's fine and the next day nope. Mainly I'm eating lunch meat and cheese and crab. So today I was thinking oh I'll have some mashed potatoes. I was ok with them previously... today not so much. Two minutes in to two small bites I was running to the bathroom. Oh joy!

    Liquid Diet Struggles

Egg drop soup. Your welcome [emoji38]
  13. I belong to gwennie bee and rent my clothing for work. So for $100 a month I swap out my outfits as much as I can. Also I'm selling my plus size clothing on Poshmark to make money for new staple pieces. I also plan to hit goodwill and platos closet!

    Sensitive to scents

Don't feel bad I lost my crap on some student nurses when I was in the hospital. They had so much perfume on that I would gag and almost throw up in the hall on my walks. I never was that sensitive before as I make soap and deal with fragrance.

    Excess skin

I really feel like it is hard to say you won't get loose skin. Your body has been stretched out and now you are going to lose weight rapidly by a non traditional way. After I had kids my skin was never the same and now I know that it won't be with this. Most likely it will be your arms or maybe your thighs. I know it's sucks because idk if I can deal with extra surgeries myself. Just do your best and let it ride!
