Fathead Pizza/Crackers anyone?
I have to agree with this. I tried a low carb tortilla that had a good amount of protein 6g, and it was way too filling for my sleeve. I will try again in 6 months.

You are being very smart. Do it now so by the time y'all are 50 you can retire. My dh will have to retire from the military in 4 years at age 60. So we took advantage of the extra money he made during deployment to help pay stuff off and sold what we didn't need. The goal was to be completely debt free when he retires, I hope we can get the house and roof paid in the next few years and then we will be free. I want him to be able to really retire and not have to look for part-time employment. It is scary contemplating a drop in income, and I wish we would have started saving more when we were younger. Quicken is good at forecasting, YNAB is designed more for helping you to see how your budget is working today. I couldn't live without it. There are so many budget programs out there, as long as you are using something, you are way ahead of the game. Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.....lol..

I think it is awesome @Newme17. Ha Ha, we sold my hubby's silverado 3 years ago and paid cash for a used volvo suv. No more truck payments and the volvo gets a little better gas mileage. He misses his truck, but we don't miss the payments. We finally cut the cord with the cable company. We have our roku and got direct tv now the new streaming service. We will save $55 a month doing this. If it was just me I wouldn't even have the direct tv streaming, but my dh loves soccer and he can't watch the games without it. It sounds like you and your hubby are rocking it!! We did many of the same things you all are doing now back in 2014 when my dh came back from a 12 month deployment in Afghanistan. Check out the budget software YNAB. It is great and I have been using it for years.

I'm seriously getting pissed off with my stall
Maybe try to change it up on different days. Like 1000 calories 30g carb, then 1200 cal 35g carb then 1100 cal 30g carb. For me 50 g of carb would have my body storing fat. I know it is different for everyone so if this doesn't apply to you just ignore my advice.

Why do we fall off the wagon? & How to get back on?
I agree. This was exactly the point I was trying to get across in a different thread yesterday. Stop spending so much time worrying about whats for dinner and feed your body what it needs to remain healthy and reach your goals. We all know what we need to do!

That moment you decided things had to change.
Thinking about this is very emotional for me. The moment I knew I had to do something about my weight and my health was the moment I was losing my best friend, my mom. Last October she suffered a major stroke, it was her third stroke, she was on life support and the doctor said she would not wake up. my mom had, HBP, type 2 diabetes, and arthritis. She was obese most of her adult life. I was following along that same path already having the diabetes. I want to be here for my grandchildren and I want to live a active healthy life.

May 15th, 2017 Sleevers Check in Here!!!
I bought some exercise capris and tops also. I bought two sports bras and I thought the extra large would fit, but they are super tight. I hate women's sizing. It is never true. I bought the bras on Amazon and went by their sizing charts... I learned a lesson, don't by clothes without trying them on. I am in between like 3 sizes depending on which brand.. either L, XL, or XXL! I don't have to dress up for work either. Jeans and a top works, so at least I have enough to last me for a while. I am afraid to shop for a bathing suit, but I definitely need one.

I am so happy for you and proud @Sweet as peaches. I sometimes can't believe how I look now. I know others notice the weight loss more than we do in ourselves.

I actually tracked my sitting for a day so I could be more accurate. So yea if you lower your sitting the number of calories will go up. We will never be able to eat enough calories to exceed our TDEE right now so no worry of gaining any fat.

I am right there with you girl. My dh has been offering to give me a massage like 2-3 times a week. He says my muscles need it since I am running and he doesn't want me to hurt myself. Well I am on to him, these massages always turn into something else.. lol.. and I am not complaining ?

It is really good and you could sub in regular milk or whatever you like. It isn't sweet though. I think it has 8-9 carbs total. I am getting used to drinking unsweetened everything now.

Weight loss doing great, but darn, I'm always hungry!!!
I think as long as your choices are healthy and the proper portions that is what's most important. Everyone has to figure out what works for them. I am still in this learning phase myself. I don't think blizair09 was saying you must follow his plan to be successful, he was just sharing what has worked for him. I do think reevaluating our relationships with food and figuring out how we need to change it is a good idea.

Weight loss doing great, but darn, I'm always hungry!!!
I don't think I will ever go as far as eating the exact same things everyday, but I appreciate the way you have figured out what works for you. I do have several meals that I rotate throughout the month and then rinse and Repeat. I like the mindset of food is fuel. I still enjoy the flavors and textures of the fuel, but I don't think about the foods I shouldn't eat much anymore. I spend more time concentrating on other things. I am working on getting fit and My time running is becoming more important to me. I can sit and enjoy my husbands company at dinner now and not even be thinking about the food. It is a very good feeling to be in control.

Having trouble eating solid food- is this cheating?
This is a good question. Once I am done with a meal I am done, and I usually don't eat again for at least 3 hours. However, if you are not meeting your protein goals I think it is appropriate to eat every 2-3 hours if you needed to get it all in. There are many vets who eat 5-6 times a day smaller amounts. Hopefully you will get some more responses from those further out.

Weight loss doing great, but darn, I'm always hungry!!!
I think this post is something worth thinking about. I believe many (myself included) don't do enough work on changing the way we look at food. I have been working on this for myself. Instead of thinking about what am I in the mood for, I look in the freezer find an appropriate protein and a vegetable to go with it, thinking more about what does my body need. I am spending more time making sure I meet my macro goals and less time worrying about cooking certain recipes. I still cook things my husband wants, but I make sure what I am eating fits my plan.
