I agree @esaad the nausea was the worst. Everyday gets better though. I mainly have gas pain now. I am still very bloated and keep walking trying to expel it all.

I am afraid I will do the same thing and forget I just had surgery and mindlessly drink or eat something. Glad it didn't hurt you.

I had a busy afternoon and I am a little sore now. Our valet picked up our group of three sleevers and our companions and took us downtown to shop and for lunch at Caesars. We had the famous onion broth and it was delicious. I brought most of it back with me to sip on for dinner. I thought I would take a nap when we got back to the hotel but I can't sleep. I hooe everyone is settling in at home and feeling a little better.

Sorry to hear you still have nausea. I felt that way the first day. I have been sipping liquid every 5 minutes since I got my IV out. I am not sure how much I have gotten down but probably 2-3 ounces over two hours. Maybe see if warm or hot liquids work better. I hope you feel much better soon.

I will be leaving the hospital soon and will be staying two days at the hotel. I can't wait to have a change of scenery. I am sipping something about every 5 minutes just small sips. I hope this will be enough. I feel like I could probably take larger sips but I don't want to push it. I hope you are home and comfortable.

I have heard of stomach spasms maybe that is what you are having? I am ready to get this IV out. It is aggravating to me. I don't like the plain water so I have been drinking the juice and broth. I hope I can drink enough to stay hydrated when the IV is out.

I sure hope the gas pain eases up on you soon. Everyone says walking is the best way so that's what I have been doing. I hope today is a much better day for you.

I am doing ok tonight. I am trying hard to get more fluids down because my blood sugar dropped to 49 tonight. I am very hopeful that I will be off my diabetes medicine for good. I have not felt hungry at all so I need to force myself to drink. i hope everyone else is doing well.

I passed my leak test so they brought me broth, jello, water, and juice. I had a few sips of broth and two small bites of jello. It seems to have settled well but I got hiccups lol. That felt weird. I have been burping too!! I prefer that to tooting lol. I think we are all doing pretty well considering. I walked three times today and had a shower also. I am ready for a nap now. Take care fellow sleevers.

Yes the nausea was the worst. Mine seems to have passed for now. I am still dealing with the gas though. I don't feel hungry at all and I am nervous about drinking anything later. Have you had your leak test yet? I am getting mine soon.

I had my surgery yesterday with Dr Ilan here in Tiajuana. My experience has been great thus far.

That is great @Sweet as peaches. I have only been allowed ice chips so far. I will have a leak test this morning and once I pass that I will have broth and jello. I was pretty groggy yesterday also and nauseous. I feel much better today and was walking around my floor at 5 am. I hope you get to go home today!

I was like that too. I woke up from surgery very nauseous and I had a couple of dry heaves the first few hours. My gas pains are worse than anything else. I feel it in my chest right between my breasts. I haven't walked much yet because everytime I stand up I feel so nauseous I am afraid I will throw up. Did your throat hurt? Mine is a little sore. I hope everyone is doing ok. I am already feeling a little better and I am thinking today I wii be able to get more walking done.

Thank you. I Just got my happy pill to help with anxiety. So it won't be long now. Feel groggy now.

I am waiting. I have my IV and just waiting for the doctors to come in and talk to me. I am guessing you are already in surgery @Newme17 or in recovery. Praying you are doing well.

Today is the day. I will be leaving for the Oasis of Hope hospital at 8:30. I have been awake since 5:00. I am surprisingly calm right now. I am ready to start this journey to reclaiming my health. See you all on the losers bench!!

I am feeling similar. I think it is just normal to be anxious before a major surgery. I will be picked up tomorrow morning at 8:30 to head over to the hospital. I will have some pre op tests and then surgery. I will be keeping all of you in my prayers for a safe surgery with no complications. We are all going to do great. I hope we can manage to sleep a little tonight. See you on the other side!!

I am in my hotel room in Mexico relaxing with my husband. Our valet brought us some lunch. I had broth and my dh had a delicious Mexican meal. We are going to rest for a little while and then our valetLuis will take us on a tour of Tijuana. So far everyone has been super nice. I tired and a little hungry, but that is to be expected. I'm happy to hear you had a nice last meal @Newme17. Ill check back in later.

Thank you @MarinaGirl for sharing your experience. I am in Mexico now relaxing in my hotel room with my husband. Everyone with Bariactric Pal team Mx has been very nice so far. our valet Luis is bringing me so homemade broth and a traditional Mexican meal for my husband. We will take a nap and he will come back later and take us for a little tour of Tijuna. I will try and update tomorrow evening after my surgery.
