1. I've been slower than most to. I'm 6 months out. People tell me that it seems I stay the same then overnight it looks like I've dropped 20. Lol take your body measurements. You could be losing inches just keeping plugging away. It will happen

I haven't have my surgery yet, it will be in May but I have been reading a lot and learning a lot from others posts. One of the things that got my eye was that a lot of people keeps saying to keep the carbs count under 50 and the Protein intake above 100 and that will help with loosing weight. I am very interested in this because I was diagnosed with diabetes and I should be eating a low carb diet but please give me some advise in your experiences

  2. Do people realize that chronically over eating gets acid in your esophagus and long term will lead to complications? Over eating. which is waiting until your body tells you that you are full, is a long term recipe for issues.
janedoe92 How much we can eat varies a lot on the moisture content of the food. Like if you prepare something fresh you will be able to eat more it than something you have reheated in the microwave, because the microwave removes moisture. The density and the fat content matter too. If you surgery date is accurate, you less than 2 months post op and not fully healed, so everything varies right now. Plus I know people with the DS have a sleeve shape, but I'm not sure what the similarities are after than since long term DS people consume a lot more calories than Sleevers because of their malabsoprtion.

What is DS? Sorry I am new here
