  1. Yes, I had severe shoulder pain. It started about 1 or so after surgery. I too had a hernia repain. It lasted on and off for about a month. Then it went away. I took my pain meds from after surgery to help with the pain. It didn't take it away, but it helped.
  2. Weight loss is also slow for me- I have lost 26lb total- and have had 2 fills. Don't feel much, just a little bit of restriction. I still feel like I can eat pretty much anything. I'm having a hard time with mornings- and eating the right foods.
  3. I was banded 3/24 and having the worse pain in my life in my left shoulder and then sometimes going up my neck. It starts at the tip of the shoulder. Did anyone take anything to releave the pain. I have never heard of this complication until now..
  4. My surgery is also on Monday ....I cheated on Wed. I broke down and ate things I shouldn't have. It wasn't much...but I couldn't help it. I think as long as you "do good" this weekend, that is o.k. I am so temped to eat... I've lost about 12 lbs on my pre-op liquid diet. Monday will be here before we know it. I go in for 7:15 am!!!
  5. Thanks for the feedback Sharona- I hope Monday will go nice and easy for me!!
  6. I'm new to the website- I've been doing the liquid diet -go for my surgery on Monday!!! My husband is also going for the surgery the same day- of course he has lost more than me this week!! The hardest is being at home with the kids, and making meals for them. It is easier when I am at work and keeping busy. Today and tomorrow will be hard. Easter will be very hard, but I vbout my kids candy that I don't like. No Easter ham, no Easter peeps, etc.... Thats o.k. I am trying to keep busy and clean the house so by tomorrow my whole house should be spotless!!!
  7. I go on Monday for my surgery- both my husband and I are have the surgery on the same day. I have had only good things to say about him and his staff. I don't know about the new Dr. he hired- I have only seen him. The pre-op diet is very hard!! I have to get through Sunday!! that will be hard.
  8. go to church - I think I better!! Then not cook anything!! This is the first time in a long time I did not cook. I bought candy stuff I did not like a couple of weeks ago for my kids, 6 & 10. We are just going to 2 differnent houses after they eat - one of them said they will save plates for my kids to eat . I will come home, put some new QVC sheets I just got in the mail on my bed. Send the kids off to my in-laws Make sure my bags are packed Relax!!! I don't know what time I have to be at the hospital- I find out tomorrow. What is everyone else doing??
  9. Me too!!! 3/24 is my date!! My husband and I are doing this together. He has lost about 15 lb on the liquid diet. I have lost about 7lbs. It is hard cooking for the kids -I did slip up and had a couple of crackers... but that was 2 days ago and I am going strong now. Sunday will be hard!! but the next day is the first day of my new life!!
  10. I have been drinking only the Atkins Advantage- I have a 10 strick day pre-op diet- I have 2 or 3 drinks a day. I tried a powder from GNC- didn't like it too much...My husband and I are both getting our surgery on Monday. He has already lost 15 lbs since Friday! Sammey1 from CT
