considering gastric sleeve
I can’t find a reason why you shouldn’t want surgery... To find enough reasons and inspiration, take a look ar before/after pictures, all benefits are the same, healthier, energetic, confidence, etc etc... this surgery will help you controlling your food intake and food addiction, although I strongly recommend to include excersices or home workouts..you want to keep your muscles tight... good luck!

Day 2 on Pre-Op Diet
Stay strong and keel your mind focus in other activities.. go out for a walk.. movies..Remember, once it becomes a habit it will be easier... we all struggled but you need to think is part of the commitment for the “new you”. Read something, distract your brain.. and picture yourself slimmer, stick that in your head before you even think in food.. Believe me is worth it! Good luck Ash!

Liquid diet.... can I ?????
Just be careful post-op, your liquid intake wont be the same as is right now.. post-op you would handle 32-48 oz of water per day. Dr recommends to avoid coffee due dehydration, I remeber having my first decaf by the third-fourth week post op, and my first regular coffee by 2nd month without any issues.. I a coffee lover and today at my close to 10th month I have my daily cappuchino ? good luck!

Thanks @Jeannie49!! And yes.. stalls are like traffic.. you kind of plan and do your best to avoid them.. but you end up running into it.. whenever you hit a stall, increase your proteins, switch your diet and workouts a little bit, stop but stop looking at scale, stick to your food and keep moving.. that’s your body recovering.... best of luck in your journey..

I Want To See Before & After Pics! (Cont'd)
Hi all, quick update, I am close to my 10th month post-op. I was VSG’d 03/10/17, HW: 405, SW: 385, CW: 230. My goal weight is 190.. I have been struggling with the last 40 lbs, it seems to be attached to my body LOL.. I am very thankful to this process; it is definitely a great tool. However, it is 50/50 we need to engage the other 50% and battle every day with our old bad habits. I hit stalls 3 times, and they last for weeks.. I don’t even look at the scale, now is my enemy (LOL) , instead I rely on clothing and noticed I am losing size… I increased my workouts the last 4 months, I hope I can meet my goal by March 1st, sharing this few photos for now… Will post more in March and I hope I can see a difference. You always friend Carlos….

It is very hard to shed last 40 lbs, it seems to be attached to my body LOL.. I am very thankful to this process; it is definitely a great tool. However, it is 50/50 we need to engage the other 50% and battle every day with our old bad habits. I am satisfied with my weight loss, but really wanted to lose more weight by now, I hit stalls 3 times, and they last for weeks.. I don’t even look at the scale, now is my enemy (LOL) , instead I rely on clothing and noticed I am losing size… I increased my workouts the last 4 months, I do 4-5 times a week (1.5-2 hrs), I split weight training and HIIT. Now I am working really hard on core workouts.. I hope I can meet my goal by March 1st, PS: pardon quality of photos.. as header says (quick update) haring this few photos for now… Will post more in March and I hope I can see a difference. You always friend Carlos….
