  1. Good luck. You won't regret it. Take it one day at at time and watch the magic happen.
  2. @obxshell89 you're exactly right. My experience was very similar to yours. @tera73 Most of this is all mental. Once you have the surgery it'll be so much easier to follow the directions and expectations they have for you. The bypass is the way to go. You wont regret it. Keep is posted.
  3. Well said. I'd do it 1000 times over. I had no issues at all the recovered like a champ. Life changing!!!!

  5. Just to chime in, I had my surgery with Dr. Fitzer om 12/18/17 and he is awesome and his staff is even better. Overall great experience!
  6. For everyone that has had the surgery with Dr. Fitzer, how was the pain after you left the hospital. The reason I ask is because i read that some say that he does not send you home with medication. I'm not big on pain meds, but I do worry about how to handle the pain if it gets too intense. Thanks for all of your advice.
  7. I have my first consultation with him Oct 6. Super excited. How has be been so far?
  8. What insurance do you have that only requires 3 months? I have Capital BlueCross which I think is 3 months also.
