  1. I had surgery a little over a month ago. Five years ago, prior to my surgery, I was healthy, fit, trim and not overweight. My thyroid is what made me gain a ton of weight (140lbs) in the last few years and I ended up having VSG. Well, I thought because I was never heavy prior that my skin might bounce back after this surgery or somewhat and it's not. (I know it's quite early still) but I'm curious.... Is there anyone out there who may have had something similar to this and after time, your skin bounced back a bit? I have lose skin between my legs and not to sound gross or dramatic, it looks like I have a 2nd vagina. I just bought shapewear to hide this, but this is really making me feel very insecure. I'm grateful I'm am losing all this weight but I don't want my upper inner thighs to have this extra skin forever. My husband swears it will go down a lot once I exercise this are more intense. Is he right or should I start stashing for skin removal surgery? I know there are worse things to worry about in life but this is really upsetting. I don't want to have to hide behind big baggy clothes to hide the skin folds thru my clothing

    Need advice: Protein drinks

Thank you everyone! I got some isopure and plain grass fed whey to mix into my meals. So far so good. Now if I can figure out how to stop the acid reflux we'll be set. This is all so weird and new to me. My nutritionist appointments were so vague and no body really filled me in on what to buy.

They told me to take flinstone chewables. They are horrid and so gross.

Also* how soon after surgery did some of you take your vitamins because the flinstone ones make me vomit. I was in the ER 3 days post op because it was uncontrollable. Someone said they make vitamin patches is this true?
  6. Hi, I'm 7 days post op and I am having a really hard time tolerating the premier Protein premade drinks. They are so gross & Too sweet for me. I also think they are irritating my stomach. I wake up every morning with lose bowels. I know, I'm sorry TMI, but I didn't know who to ask? . Can anyone recommend another way to get my protein in besides the doctor approved protein yogurts? Maybe some that aren't so sweet, or clear ones, or lactose free ones that are clear? Thank you in advance

    Post Surgery Needs?

Definitely Jello. Watch buying too much. The only flavors I could tolerate after surgery was sugar free cherry. Some of the other flavors were too strong and seemed too sweet. Some made me nauseous.
