I've gotten mostly elastic pants so the waist fits longer like Jennings and yoga / exercise pants. I also got clothes at Sam's club. I'm a nurse and wear scrubs 5 days / week so I also don't really need anything dressy... thank the lord. I have gotten into this concept of a wardrobe capsule where you have just a few pieceds of clothing that can all be mixed and matched. I think this is helpful too as I don't want to drop a bunch of money into temporary clothing.

Hope this post doesn't get deleted like my other ones to this thread.
I hope my chest gets smaller. I always liked my A/B size but when I gained weight in my 30's they became a D. Not a fan. I'm only 2+ weeks post- op and I can't tell if they're getting smaller yet. Fingers crossed.

I made the decision a while ago that I wanted to get to my goal weight and then hire a trainer and add muscle. I know me well enough to know that if I start that now, it will affect my loss, and even though I'll still be burning fat, the scale numbers will bother me.
That being said, my partner, who has lost 115 pounds himself, took another approach and started working with a trainer last fall. He actually went through one of the local universities and was able to buy blocks of training time at a more reasonable rate. I want to say that he ended up getting ten one-hour sessions for $300. When he used those ten, he bought another ten and so on. His trainer is certified and is a PhD candidate in kinesiology, so he is very conscientious about their work together. He's been pleased with the results.
    Good luck!

My surgery was last Tuesday (6 days ago). I'm still on stage 3 (water, bean Soups, yogurt, and Protein shakes). At this point I'm still unable to eat more than 3-4 bites of anything without getting the chest pain as if I'm eating fast, but I know I'm not. It's becoming impossible to get the required 60g Of protein and 64 oz of water/fluids. The only way is to have 2 ENTIRE shakes (I can drink 1/4 and it takes me 45 mins) and work on Water ALL day! Ugggh. Seems like a full time job and im failing big time. Any suggestions?? Please tell me this doesn't last long🙁

I hit a 5 week plateau at the six month mark as well and upped my calories, Protein, and Water, I've started losing again but it's slower than during the first 6 months. I eat on average 1100 calories a day. Keep at it, you can do this!

I threw up for my first 2 days also. I was sleeved on march 2, and I will tell you that it does get easier by about day 4. I was super miserable those first 2 days and now I can sip and not feel like I am dying and the gas pains are less each day. You can do this!!

I'm still in the hospital, nurses are all telling me it's normal and keep giving me different nausea medicines to help. I guess I just have to get out all the gas for it to stop. I just had the UGI test and no leaks.
