I am doing great. :thumbdown: Is it normal to stay at a same weight for 2 weeks? I haven't lost much since I started eating reg food. Also I seem to get hungry before next time to eat. Can anyone tell me anything? I go for a fill Aug 6th. I hope that takes care of the hunger. Glad to here everyone doing good. My home doctor said that my sugar is perfect without meds!! That is the whole reason for the surgery and the side affect of the weight lost too!! Welp catch you all later.

Everyone! i was banded June 27th!:thumbup: i would have shared it earlier but my computer is in the hospital.:eek: i have lost 17 lbs so far and am a little sore. haven't thru up yet, and hope not to. Mazziemomma you look great. talk to you all later. go back and see the doc on the 10th. let ya know how all goes.

thanks for the tip and i didn't know we could have fruit on the liquid diet. i am on my 2nd week of just liquid, the first week i was allowed one meal a day. my husband is doing well with me. can get a little bossy. i told this week will need lots of hugs.:rolleyes2:

Good Morning all! i have my date, it's June 27th!!:thumbup::biggrin2::biggrin: i'm so excited. today i start the 2 week diet. me and my husband celebrated my 25th anniversery yesterday! he has been so wonderful. he is going to diet along with me. i would like to ask what kind of Protein drinks taste the best? i have some slim-fast high Proteins. and how do i get my picture off my ticker bar? thanks for being patient with me. i am a missourian, show-me and as hard headed as a mule. Thanks, Legster. When i say desserts, i mean pudding, jello, popsicles the stuff they say you can have. or do they go along with dinner. It's summer time and i like to have a popsicle once in awhile.:confused2:

Hello everyone! I went to all the appointments. All is well. They didn't have any white jackets for me after seeing Katie! They can be sneaky:lol:. I have my last appointment with Dr. Edwards to make my surgery appointment June 10th! My 25th anniverary is June 11th. That will be my last supper for a while, i guess. It's so exciting. I was so glad to meet Legster at the behavorial meeting. You look Good!! How was that size 12.:thumbup: Looked Good!! Talk to youn's later!!

thanks for the encouragement legster and keep up the good work! i have found out that i'm gonna be a grandma around Dec, now i can be a skinny one and be able to do lots of stuff with him/her. i only have 1 child and am looking forward to grand babies.:frown:

the doctor that i will have, puts his patients on a 2 week liquid diet, i'm not sure if it's the clear or the full. the reason for it ( i learnt at seminar ) was that it makes the liver small so that it is easier to get underneath it to get to the part of the stomach where the band goes. which makes since to me. i hope i have helped. i would do the diet if it were me. :thumbup:i am so excited. i want to start the liquid diet so that i can speed it up, but thats not how it works. the seminar is very informative. you will learn alot and get questions answered. Mary is very nice. her husband took my papers and said that he was just the husband, i said that is a very important part. i'll let ya know what happens thursday. did you get your packet already? Mary sent me mine and i had all my med records faxed to them, thats what got things rolling i think.

Hello, all! Went to the Seminar and handed in my papers on the 21st and Mary called the 24th to make me an appointment with Dr. Edwards on May 1st. That was quick. i am so ready and excited. Wishing you all encouragement!

i heard that for self paying it would cost about 17,000. does that include all the test and evaluations, if not how much do they run and what all is included in the 17,000(fills and doc visits, etc.)?:crying:

maziemommy or anyone else. i am signed up for the April seminar. i down loaded the form to fill out. what are the next steps to follow the seminar. i am very excited and want to know everything to that goes on. my mom had the gastric by pass. and has lost 90 lbs. but i didn't want to go that extreme.

I am looking into going to Springfield, MO. I haven't talked to anyone yet. What is the steps i need to take and do i have to sign up for anything to go to the seminar.

i called about the seminar and they are booked for this one. so i'm down for the April 21st seminar. i was so excited to get this going, i'm not very patent to wait for things. when i'm ready, i'm ready. Also, i will be private pay, do they have a payment plan or do we find our own financing else where. i have been to a seminar before with my mom, she has the by-pass. but they said i would need to come to Dr. Edwards. There is a seminar in Branson on the 5th of April. And after the seminar what are the other steps and how long til i could have the lap-band.

Hello! Is anyone going to the Seminar, Wednesday night, March 26th, in Springfield, Mo. And has anyone paid out of pocket. I would like to know about how much it's gonna cost.

I saw that there would be a seminar March 26th, at 6 pm. I will be private pay.
