    Three weeks in

Hi Sandy, sorry just saw your message. I'm 5 weeks out now and can eat soft foods now but not doing so well. Tried lean pork last night but hurt even after I chewed a lot. Ended up eating yogurt. I guess it will just take time. Stomach must be super small. I am still burping a lot. All in all I would do it all over again. How are you feeling?

Hi Sandaisa! Congrats [emoji5] Mine was the 21st too. Pre-op weight 284, SW 271, 2 wk post op 263 and now 3 wks around 250. So far so good. Puréed food was a little tough but now it's better. I just have to remember to eat slowly [emoji106]🏻

    I did it

Congratulations! I'm close to the same as you. Surgery Feb 21, prior weight 284, surgery weight 271, 10 days after 263. Now 3 wks out my scale says 250[emoji5][emoji5][emoji5]
  4. Hi everyone! Feb 21st was my surgery. I'm trying puréed now but it's been a bit uncomfortable. Eggs seem to be the best for me. I seem to have gas 24/7. Gas x strips help but I think I could belch all day. Anyone experiencing this?
  5. I'm home[emoji106]? stayed 2 nights. Feeling much better. Had some issues with my blood pressure but they got it under control. I'm just sore mostly. Drinking very slowly. Dr said it will get easier going down. Glad to be home so I can sleep in my bed[emoji106]?
  6. Today is the day!!! I just walked in the hospital. Surgery is at noon. I'm very excited. Not so nervous this morning. I'm ready for this[emoji106]?[emoji5][emoji1317]

  12. Hi Karen, I'm 59 and my surgery is also on the 21st. So, how are you doing on the pre-op diet? I'm making it with no cheating and it isn't easy but gotta do it! Where do you live? I live in the Houston TX area.

    New to this whole thing!

Hello everyone! I am scheduled for the sleeve on Feb 21st. I'm also in my pre-op diet right now. It's not easy but I know I have to do it. I'll be 60 in May and am so ready to have a great birthday with less of me[emoji5] I weighed 284 last week at my doctors pre-op appt but I have been as high as 292. and I'm 5'5". I'm very excited, nervous, hopeful, anxious and scared[emoji51]. I'm so tired of losing the same 45ish lbs over and over with every known diet to only gain it back and then some. It seems like I'd lose that 45 and start back to old habits so I've never lost more than that on any diet I wish & pray for everyone the best on their journey. [emoji1317] I look forward to reading everyone's experiences.
