  1. I think you need to reread my comment so you can realize that I was not speaking to you. YOUR opinion is your opinion, if you do not feel like Mexico is a good choice that is your opinion. However, do not come at me because I told her to look up topics regarding the surgery in another country (not at all mentioning you). Now I am not going to do a back and forth with a person of your level. Have a good day and next time read carefully before you post negatively.
  2. UMMMM.... Maybe you need to bring your attitude down to a Zero because my comment was not directed to you. You should read that I offered her an option. I did not Quote you nor read your Quote. The world does not revolve around you and what you have posted. To make sure I am talking to you, I have now Quoted you.
  3. Hi, I figured it out. It is something that needs to be enabled for the option to appear on the "+Create". To enable status updates. Do the following: 1) Click your username on the top right hand side (Then Click Account Settings) 2) On the right hand side, you will see edit profile. 3) Under entering your birthday, you will see "Enable Status Update". Then save it, it will show up like @biginjapan said.
  4. To change your city and state. Do the following: 1) Click your username on the top right hand side (Then Click Account Settings) 2) On the right hand side, you will see edit profile. 3) Scroll down and input the information you would like people to know. I hope that helps. Now, there are many people on here whom have gone to Mexico for surgery. Search some of the topics, as they also refer great surgeons that would help you.
  5. You may have to cut the bottoms.
  6. That is interesting. I rather chew my gummy vitamins like a big girl lol. I have always been skeptical of anything that is a patch and is supposed to penetrate the skin. I rather take the shot in my butt every 3 months as birth control then trust some patch. Patches lol "First they're Sour and Then they're Sweet". Please excuse my silliness today. I believe it is due to my Pre-Op diet. The best way to trust that you are getting your vitamins is through taking them orally.
  7. Started my Pre-Op diet today!!!!! Cheers to the freakin drinkin. Protein Shakes Yeah yeah yeah.!!!
  8. Pre-op starts tomorrow. I am soo excited for that. I am sorry that you were denied.
  9. My pre-op diet starts 3/12. I have all of my shakes and broth. Is there any other advise that I can receive?
  10. I am glad to here that you are feeling better. Things are going to get easier
  11. I really think that this site should have an FAQ on the how to use option. Where to go and what to do.
  12. Congrats!!! I know they were dragging their feet with that one.
  13. Congrats!!! When do you start your pre-op diet?
  14. I do not have the option to create a status update. I am wondering, do you have be of a higher ranking to create the updates?
  15. My mom's friend says that it is due to the hormones. She said that the first month is the hardest. You will eventually balance out and then feel a lot better.
  16. Omg, I have that same question. I thought it was just me!!
  17. Lol I feel the same way. I look at peoples before and after pictures and especially in the time they said it took them to lose the weight and I am," I know what you did." lol
  18. It may seem harder because you are actively trying to be social. The hardest thing is putting yourself out there. It will get easier as you interact with people more. Just by coming out of your shell, you will get a little more comfortable.
  19. I completely understand. I am doing the last bit of test for my clearance. My stress test is next week Wednesday. Thank god they all work in the same area and pass the information quickly.
  20. Well I am glad that you have found your way that works for you. I would say try having discussions with people so you get some practice.
  21. @Dashofpixiedust8 Well hell, if we are removing belly buttons? They could take mines too. I would not mind looking like at lab child. I would be soo adorable. lol
  22. Omg, the days are flying by so fast. I have 3 more days until my pre-op diet starts. I am soo nervous but ready for this. I just have some last minute purchases to make and I am good to go!!! Go March Sleevers.
  23. I love Shakes that are chocolate but I was getting tired of the chocolate flavors and for some reason vanilla is too sweet for me. I would like to try the other flavors. I think I will buy one pack of strawberry and caramel and get the rest chocolate just in case l do not like them
  24. I am 25 and I know how you feel. I have gone through all the WLS steps and then when I got approved, I started getting nervous and having second thoughts. I was so scared of the loose skin and what my body may look like afterwards that I was starting to talk myself out of it. Then, I was trying to get up a decent amount of stairs. I could feel my weight holding me down. I feel my knees and lungs fighting to get me up the steps. At that point, I realized that I was doing this to be able to do simple things like getting up the stairs. Honestly, now I could care less about loose skin, I will have that cut off. I know I did damage to my body for years of unhealthy eating and I feel like this is my last chance to fix that. I have severe endometriosis and my chances of having children naturally are slim to none. I have spoken with fertility doctors and they informed me that my size will add difficultly for treatment to work. I am not only doing this surgery for my health but also for the health of my future children. We need to make this change now so that we are great role models for healthy lifestyles when we have our children. Do not let the fear stop you.
