  1. The following updates for 3/16:

    1) Did my stress test. They got my heart rate up to 185/bpm. We did the sonogram as well. I found out that I have a very strong and healthy heart. :D I got approved right there by the cardiologist.

    2) Went to see my new PCP. Honestly, she seemed very judgmental. She asked me why I did not take other types of appetite suppressants. I was like, "I don't know....maybe because the ones that I have tried has not worked." She then started naming other brands and I was just confused. I really thought that she was going to denied me surgery. I ended up receiving her approval after she did my blood work and a EKG of her own.

IDK. I am just glad that I am getting surgery.

My PCP ended up not taking my insurance anymore. I have been with this office since 2013, when I moved back to NYC. They stopped taking my insurance at the end of February so I had to find a brand new PCP.

I had to see her yesterday again and she was a lot nicer. Especially when I got on the scale and I had lost 8 lbs since the start of my liquid diet. I think she was a little hesitant about me at first, she probably thought I was some young kid trying to take the easy way out. She gave me great advise as well.

I'm glad she was nicer. She could have just had a bad day the day you were there too. I am glad it went well for you. I hate changing docs/insurances. It's very tedious, especially when you've got little ones; have to research and find good reviews, etc. But it seems to have gone well for ya. I'm glad.

Youre young;its no easy way out for any of us. But it's a fortunate way for you now at your age and that's a blessing.

I am glad that I have this opportunity, I did not think that people my age would be even be eligible for the surgery. I am glad that I made the discussion to check and start the process. I am looking forward to this.

Changing Docs and insurance really is a long drawn out process. The craziest thing is that the first time, it was soo easy. I did not have to do much of anything, accept read and sign some papers.

My surgeon actually referred me to her. I think they might have a crush on each other lol. That would be riot though. She is sooo serious and he is goofy. When he referred me and called her, he was blushing and giggle like a school boy trying to be cool. When she realized that I was the patient he had referred, she started blushing lol. It is funny.
