    Vitamin patches

That is interesting. I rather chew my gummy vitamins like a big girl lol. I have always been skeptical of anything that is a patch and is supposed to penetrate the skin. I rather take the shot in my butt every 3 months as birth control then trust some patch. Patches lol "First they're Sour and Then they're Sweet". Please excuse my silliness today. I believe it is due to my Pre-Op diet. The best way to trust that you are getting your vitamins is through taking them orally.

One week out from DS Surgery and I can't stop crying

My mom's friend says that it is due to the hormones. She said that the first month is the hardest. You will eventually balance out and then feel a lot better.

    New to dating

It may seem harder because you are actively trying to be social. The hardest thing is putting yourself out there. It will get easier as you interact with people more. Just by coming out of your shell, you will get a little more comfortable.

    Cheaping on Pre-op diet

I love Shakes that are chocolate but I was getting tired of the chocolate flavors and for some reason vanilla is too sweet for me. I would like to try the other flavors. I think I will buy one pack of strawberry and caramel and get the rest chocolate just in case l do not like them
  21. Hi, Has anyone ever cheated on their Pre-op diet? If so, how did you restart yourself to make sure you were good for surgery? I am just curious. I feel like I would be that one person that just cheats midway through.

    Confused

I am 25 and I know how you feel. I have gone through all the WLS steps and then when I got approved, I started getting nervous and having second thoughts. I was so scared of the loose skin and what my body may look like afterwards that I was starting to talk myself out of it. Then, I was trying to get up a decent amount of stairs. I could feel my weight holding me down. I feel my knees and lungs fighting to get me up the steps. At that point, I realized that I was doing this to be able to do simple things like getting up the stairs. Honestly, now I could care less about loose skin, I will have that cut off. I know I did damage to my body for years of unhealthy eating and I feel like this is my last chance to fix that. I have severe endometriosis and my chances of having children naturally are slim to none. I have spoken with fertility doctors and they informed me that my size will add difficultly for treatment to work. I am not only doing this surgery for my health but also for the health of my future children. We need to make this change now so that we are great role models for healthy lifestyles when we have our children. Do not let the fear stop you.

    2 week pre-op fusion shakes

I have not started my diet but a lot of people on here have said drinking a lot of Water and adding sugar free Jello and broth as Snacks may help. My doctor is allowing me to have water based vegetables like cucumbers. I am sorry I could not be of better assistance. Also, have you tried being busy? I find when I am busy doing things, I no desire to eat.

Well now it is time to start communicating with other women. Online dating is not bad. Just be careful of which sites you use. You never know.

    Cheaping on Pre-op diet

Thanks for the support guys/gals. I really appreciate it. I see people say that the first few days are hard but it gets easier. On the 10th, I will be at BJ's getting my premier Protein shakes. Btw, has anyone tried the Caramel and strawberry Flavors? Were they good? I could be over thinking it. I maybe able push through this diet. I will ensure that my liver shrinks. I will also go to the gym, bike and treadmill it for extra assurance.
