    Surgery [emoji120][emoji847][emoji120]

I hope you both get better!!

    The restroom

Oh, I did not have that problem. I am mostly backed up. Honestly, at least you can go. Laxatives have become my bestie in this world lol. Now if you are peeing, then that is just the amount of water you are taking in. I peed a lot.
  3. Sleeve1stFitNext

    Just starting.

Honestly, it all depends on the following: 1) Your Insurance guidelines to have it covered 2) Your surgeon guidelines to feel comfortable performing the surgery For example: Myself I had to do 6 months worth of appointments and testing. I had to do a EKG, Pysch Eval, stress test, visit the dietitian and nutrition. While doing this, I had to keep track of my food intake and lose some weight. After that I had to wait for the insurance to approve me and then wait for my surgeon to schedule a date. All and all my process took close to 7 1/2 months. Now, every surgeon and insurance company is different. It even varies by state as a well.

    Need typical day menu

@HDScarlett Unfortunately, everyone is different. However, here is what I was eating at 7 weeks out. For breakfast: I had boiled egg whites (hate the yoke) (2). For snack: I had 7 olives and a powerade zero calorie drink. For Lunch: I had 4 oz of chicken breast, 1 tsp of guacamole and 1 tbsp of sour cream. For snack: the remainder of my brocolli and cheese. For Dinner: I will have 4 oz of salmon and 1 tsp of guacamole. or Breakfast: Baked Turkey Bacon (3 Slices), 1 Boiled Egg white. Snack: 14 Olives Lunch: 2 oz of chicken, 1 tsp of sour cream, and 2 romaine lettuce leaf. Snack: Sugar Free Popsicle. Dinner: 2 oz of Chicken and Romaine Lettuce with 1/2 tomato. Snack: 1 pickle Note: I have low blood pressure and was instructed to add salt to my diet. I choose to use olive and pickles to help. I do not season my meats with a lot of salt neither. I also measure my food and portion it out. I do that because I can semi-accurately keep track of my food intake. That way if I am deficient somewhere I can make an informed decision to add somethings else later on.

    Ice cream

Its just a bite. It happens. Even to the most devoted. Just do not get caught up in the indulgences because that will be your downfall. A little ice cream every now and again is okay. Even the healthiest people in the world will admit that they indulge from time to time. As long as you jump right back into Healthy eating mode, you will be fine.
  6. So the ex-bf is completely out of the picture. I could not handle the uncertainty of his behaviors. One day he likes the way I dressed, the next day I was begging for attention. Once he started with the insecurities, I had to let it go. Truthfully, it did not hurt me as much as I thought it would. And that is because I had falling in love with someone else.

I fell in love with a woman. She is the most funny, beautiful and caring person I have ever met. She is strong, confident and dorky at the same time. She is everything I ever wanted in a person and she is ME!! I FELL IN LOVE with MYSELF again. I forgot the person I used to be and went searching for her and I found her. I never want to lose her again. If that meant giving up someone else for the sack of myself, then I would do what is necessary to keep me as a I am.

I guess sometimes you have to be selfish. I cannot sacrifice my success to make someone else fell secure in themselves. I cannot sacrifice my peace of mind to give some one a peace of mind. I just could not keep living my life through other peoples wants, hopes and desires. I want to live my life for me. I have wants, hopes and desires and I plan on making them happen.

      Amazing transformation!!

As women we tend to take care of others and always place our needs and wants last. That only works for so long and then we get to the point where we have nothing left to give. I am preaching to myself here as much as any one else.

You keep on loving yourself girl!!

Thank you everyone. I used to put everything aside for my significant others and now I have not patience for it. I have been living in a shell of myself and as I slowly break out of it, I want more independence and I want to spend more time with myself. I want to buy nicer things. I now have pride in myself more than ever and I cannot bottle that up for anyone.

  7. There is a hill that is along my bike route to work. Everyday I ride, I take that hill. Today was the first time that I made it to the top without having to stop. I am getting stronger a bike rider. My calories for today are 672 but that does not include dinner. I will be buying Standard Gold Whey Protein Powder to add to my fruit smoothies. 1 scoop is like 26g of protein (Something that is much needed as I am trying to build muscle). I am having a hard time increasing my protein intake in the form of food lately. I just have not been hungry.

Things I am adding to my diet to see if I can take them:

    1) Whey Protein

    2) Dannon Oikos Triple Zero

Also, I have started doing mediation to help alleviate some stress. I retain weight when I am stressed out. It also causes pain in my neck and back because that is where I hold all my tension. I also want to be flexible and by relaxing myself, I am able to stretch and bend a lot easier.

      MSinger

Ooh, that is wonderful. All that hill climbing on the bike is gonna give you a rock-hard booty B)

Congrats on making it up the hill!! That is an amazing non scale victory, which deserves a happy dance in celebration. I love that you are meditating! I just started hot yoga after cleared for exercise after surgery. I almost started to cry during one of the meditation sessions. We hold a lot of emotional baggage that can carry through from our pre-op life. Its important for us to learn how to cheer and support ourselves through tough times, stalls etc. You sound like you are doing amazing! Give yourself a hug- keep doing what you are doing, it sounds like its working.

    Husband eats constantly

Honestly, I don't think he is doing it on purpose. What I mean is, he is most likely eating the way he has always eaten but because you could join in or you would be doing the same, you never noticed how much it was. People tend to notice others doing what they can no longer do. Since you cannot eat currently, you are noticing more of what others are doing. I did it and I still do it. You are just in the first week of frustration. Once you start eating meals again, you won't notice as much.
  9. I fit into a size 12 ya'll. A SIZE 12!!!! OMG!!! Yes. I only lost 2.2 lbs but I dropped 2 dress sizes. I have to get a 14 in pants because my butt is big and the 12 wont go past my booty.

This week is buffalo chicken for lunch and breakfast is turkey bacon and eggs. That is small bag of ranch (1 tbsp).

@Thejeweledsleeve Great idea on the ranch dispenser!! Thanks for the info on the containers. LOL on the olives! Gosh I wish my BP was low and hope the surgery will do that for me! I'm starting my 3rd BP med today and I dream of olives. Maybe I should make that my new nic? lol!

    2. Sleeve1stFitNext

      Sleeve1stFitNext

@FluffyChix I never had a high BP. However, because I measure everything I eat, I tend to keep the intake low because I retain water easily. Most people are able to keep their BP low afterwards with a balanced diet.

    Help!

It's most likely muscle or a stall. It happens to all of us. My suggestion, stop stressing about it and try to relax. The stall will break. Try Focusing on how your body is fitting into your clothing. You are probably losing inches at this point. I barely lose on the scale but I keep going down in sizes. Example) This month I only lost 1.4lbs but dropped 2 dress sizes. From a 16 down to a 12.
  11. So I have come to the conclusion that I have a racer back gym shirt problem. I keep buying more shirts and they are soo cute and they make me feel cute. I am still kicking butt on my workouts and I have decided to end Keto for now. I have been stressing a lot about food and unfortunately, I hold on to weight that way. It is time to go back to just being mindful of what I eat and how much.

Although I look great in clothing, I wanted to show what my body looks like outside of it. My stomach is sagging lower than before I lost weight. My arms are sagging and my breast have deflated.

With that being said, I would not go back and change anything. I would not give up being able to jump, bike, go shopping easily and feel comfortable in clothes for anything. I would not trade this confidence or happiness. I am soo a peace with myself and my body. The aches that I feel are from soreness of pushing my body, than from being too heavy that my body cannot handle the weight.

This journey has saved my life in more ways than I could ever imagine. I do not hide from the world anymore. I do not hide from people. I go out and want to explore. I meet new people. I have been freed from the burdens my weight had placed on me mentally and physically.

With being said, "I LOVE MY IMPERFECTLY PERFECT BODY!!"

@Newme17 You are right. When it came to Keto, I was stressing out a lot about carbs. That was the hardest part and I noticed that I started feeling anxiety when shopping for foods. Especially, since I stay away from cakes and cookies. I need my fruits and I was limited there as well. Even though I stopped Keto, I will keep some great aspects from it. I have completely cut out bread and flour tortillas. Rice is only a 1/4 cup once every 2 weeks.

I am with you. If for some reason, I cannot pay to have the skin removed when I am ready to cross that bridge, then so be it. My skin is my journey. Each tiger strip or roll is my badge of honor.

Yes. It is now time for me to enjoy my life. Just enjoy brining able to move easily and effectively.

@Thejeweledsleeve I just tried to hit the reply button, or what I thought was the reply button, and hit the report button instead. Geez. Anyway, I was laughing at your needing to pull your leg up using your pant leg to tie your shoes. I can so relate to that situation. I also relate to struggling with the keto diet. I miss having fruit. I think as long as I keep my calories under 1000, I should be able to add a peach here and there.

  12. So where my job is located, we have live music on Thursdays  - Sundays. There are all kinds of bands that perform here at the building we work in.

I noticed that I now have a big booty. Lol. I do not know where the butt came from but in this video, I got caught showing it off lol

  13. Since my hair will not stop falling out and I still have a lot on my head. I decided to stick with the up-do.

I also added a picture of my ID at my highest weight versus today. I was sooo shocked by the difference.

My gym day. I wanted to show my setup at the gym so you can see what I do.

I have stopped losing weight but I am losing inches.

@Newme17 It was funny having her workout with me. She weighs less than I do and she was looking at me like, WTF! How are you not dying? I told her to work out like I do 4 - 5 days a week and you will be there too. It is also the way we eat. I noticed that no that I eat a lot healthier, I can do more, breathe better, sleep better and I am not foggy. My body is loving it.

  14. 9/12 - Went to the trainer to new a training regiment. The first was just cardio and light lifting to get me smaller and my body to be a lot more flexible. Now, is the real stuff. I have a HIIT workout 3 days out of the week. Heavy cardio of 30/30 for 45 minutes and a light elliptical day.

    Monday: HIIT

    Tuesday: 30/30 Cardio

    Wednesday: HIIT

    Thursday: Light Elliptical

    Friday: HIIT

She says now its time to get to the real stuff. She knows that I want my body to look like and she created this to start me off. I have 4 weeks of it. She also added room to modify the work out if I am really hurting to do one less set. I am just so excited. This a work out that she does but her's is way more intense and done a faster pace. Will be increasing my calorie intake from 775 to 1000 calories on these HIIT days. I will need to make sure that I am eating enough to sustain my body.

9/17 - My mom decided to buy me a Pandora Bracelet. Lol she was not prepare for the cost of it and told me, "Happy Birthmas" lol. She told me to add charms and numbers for every goal I achieved. She told me she was proud of me and was so happy for all my hard work.

@Newme17 That workout is amazing. This plan is guaranteed to kick my butt and hopefully make me stronger. I say every one should wear their goals. I love that it is a reminder of how far I have come. I have a bangle coming that shows my new hobby of weight lifting. I plan on putting those charms on this bracelet as well.

Also my Fitbit Blaze finally died. My heart was hurting. However, I got 50% off the charge 2 because I never used my Warranty lol. I cannot complain. It has been an awesome week.

You know you lost weight when

Oh that happened to me when I got pulled over for speeding. He looked at my license and said, "That is not you!" I just laughed. He had me show him before and after photos just to prove my identity. Then he asked me a whole bunch of questions. By the time we were done, he forgot to give me a ticket for speeding and had taken down my number 😎. I was a smooth operator! P.S he is really cute and I have a date this Friday!!
