  1. Hello! You're just fine. I was sleeved on March 31st and I am in the same state. I was concerned but my surgeon explained it and said it is okay. For now: #1 get enough liquids in. If you can't get water down try some mio drops (non caffeinated) or some low cal gatorade. I have found it sits easier in my pouch than just plain water (plain water feels very heavy to me). #2 THEN focus on protein Your insides are healing, and there is a lot of swelling, and it prevents you from getting in all of the liquids you need. It was taking me a full day of sipping to drink 32 oz. As of yesterday... I can drink a 17oz bottle of water in about an hour. You will notice a significant difference when the swelling goes down and it starts to become easier. Dehydration is a high risk for you right now, so make sure you get in at least 32oz a day and keep working on the protein. Just keep working on it. I have really made an effort to have a bottle of gatorade in my hand at all times so that I can keep working on it. Today I drank: 3 premier proteins 34oz of water And i'm stuffed. I can't possibly put anything else into myself.
