I can relate to your nausea, I was severely nauseated for 3 weeks, took zofran twice daily, had a patch behind my ear and compazine if needed. Had to drink slow, but it got better, now I'm not nauseated. It does get better. Some of the protein shakes were so sweet and sickly, good luck. I had surgery same day as you, I just get my protein and fluid requirements in, it takes all day. I took zofran for the first 3 weeks, now only get nauseated when take my multivitamin or calcium, chewable, it makes me so nauseated. Can't drink Protein, HELP!

I went back after 3 weeks. Worked evenings shift. Next day night shift then double shift [ evening/ nights ] I was tired , made sure had water on my med cart, my back hurt from standing up for so long but getting back in the swing of things. I was sleeved 4/4 and doctor signed to go back 4/24 with no restrictions, I'm a night nurse on 36 geriatric floor. Hopefully I'm ready. -

Surgery was last Tuesday, i have to say a week later i feel so much better, now no pain, no gas, just a lil nausea. Still having a hard time getting in my protein for the day and fluids but each day gets better. Hopefully everyone is healing and making process. Please share ur experience. -
