    September 2016 Post VSG Updates

Thanks for that. You are absolutely right! Comparing is clearly not helpful and I will stop as from now! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

    Lactose-Intolerance & Food Allergy Issues

My lactose intolerance worsened after surgery so always use lactose free milk and cheese. In regards to a Protein powder I use Soya Isolate which actually has more protein than whey. Makes a great smoothie with some frozen berries! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

    September 2016 Post VSG Updates

Hi. Thanks for reviving this thread! I had my surgery on the 17/09/2016 and have lost 40 lbs so far. A bit disappointed as expected to have lost more by now. I have been reading posts in different sections on this app and lots of references to drinking more Water and increasing Protein seem to spur on further weight loss. Will try this but need to force myself to drink. Have you experienced anything like this? Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

9 Months and the Game is Changing

As others have said, the best way of keeping track of calories is to keep a log. The least painful way of doing this is through an app and I find the MyPlate app is very helpful, it works everything out for you, not only calories but fat, Protein and carb content. Help need advice vsg single incision

Hi there. It sounds as if your surgery was not done via key hole otherwise you would, as you said, have about 5 small incision sites. However my best advice to you would be to contact your surgeon and the team who did your surgery regarding the healing process. You should have some follow up built in to the whole process.
