Hey March surgery peeps!
I'm 8 days post op. Feeling better and better each day. Just a bit stir crazy with the limitations so I rotate through the house...walk a bit outside, putter around putting away/dealing with clutter, sit in chair and fiddle on laptop....and always fit in a nap. LOL Anxious to get staples out next week. The incision areas are itchy from healing. Would love to slather my belly with lotion. lol My hubs coordinated all my "meals" and meds last week, but this week I'm on my own. Started using my fitbit again, no where near 10k goal, but I like to see my activity. Also started logging my protein/foods on myfitnesspal again so I can make sure I have enough. He was using a spreadsheet (bless his heart)
I'm 7 days post op and already back to work girl! Who's placed the limitations? Get out and about!

Update: Had the surgery and did great! Already back to work and getting fluids all in [emoji8]

I like to know about the gas pain after surgery.
My understanding on the gas pain is that it is pretty intense after surgery and will be tolerated much better when walking as well as making gas x strips your best friend.
Hope that helps

The sleeve has not been around long so therefore we do not know much information on the long term effects
-
I had a Vertical Gastric Banding 17yrs ago and had a lot of complications and so my doc said the only revision he would consider is the RNY. Also, if you look statistically the sleevers have a higher percentage of gaining weight back.
