for me it would be the boobs, I went from a 44DDD to a deflated balloon 34 A. I hate the sagging and the excess skin around the underarms where I USED to have boobs, I dont want huge boobs just a c cup would be nice. LOL. I cant find a bra that works to hold them up and keep the excess skin in check ...and I even am wearing a danged materinity bra as it seems to work the best. I cant afford any of it at this point so I just think whats a little extra skin compared to diabetes 2, cpap, oxygen, high bp, high cholesteral, etc.. I can deal... interesting topic tho and fun to participate in... good luck with whatever you choose.

thank you tk thank you paul. I think we should all be proud of our accomplishments be it 1 pound or 200 pounds. Yes we do get help from all around the world and I think its a good thing as it shows we are in it together and that we are not so different. I've meet people from here a few times and they have always brought me joy. I have one friend who lives in Germany that made a special trip when she went to visit her momma just to come visit me when I lived in the States. I appreciate the replies and coments and even the arse kickings I need every now and again. PEACE and HUGGLES. Bonnie

CONGRTS! Welcome to your journey. Remember this is not another diet its a lifestyle, you will have ups and downs but the outcome is so worth it. I've been banded since 2009 and no longer have diabetes 2, high cholesteral, sleep apnea or high blood pressure. Take measurements as sometimes you loose size and not pounds. Banded april 09,2009. Start weight day of surgery 234 today 128.6, I was banded in Shelbyville,Tennessee. I have recently moved to Edmonton. Looking for fellow bandsters to talk to and a band doctor. I'm married , 44 y/o. A mother to 3 adult children and grandma to 1.

I attempted and made it 3/4 of the way up a rock wall climb at the fair!!!! I wouldn't have even attempted it prior to surgery!

Hey everyone who knows me I cant access chat on my mobile or at the library so Ill let everyone know here. I am OFFICIALLY a grandma now. My grandson was born Sunday, December 18, 2011 @ 5:20 am PST via C-section. He was 8 lbs 14 ozs and 20 inches. This is my 1st grandchild and I am so happy I get to be a healthy grandma. I am now 136 pounds Ive lost a total of 118 from my heaviest weight. I went from size 24 womens jeans to a size 5 and 4x shirts to a small/medium. My bad cholesteral is now at a whopping 88 LOL. I feel good I look good and am very happy I made the descion to get the band. Merry Christmas or whatever Holiday YOU celebrate.
