  1. I am 3/20, I have quite a few issues. Sneezing a lot, acid reflux which wakes me up at night, insomnia, weak, incisions still hurt at times and my mood isn’t normal but I believe our bodies are going to take time to heal and we will get there. Taking time and having patience is where we are right now

I'm sorry to hear that you're having all these issues. Everyone says it's going to get better I just wish it'll happen a little faster. However I'll continue to have patience as well.

  2. If you are not able to take Iron pills, years ago I had to take I think Ferrous Gluconate, not tiny pills but maybe they have smaller ones these days. Worst case: Iron injections, who we those aren't fun but you do what you have to do to get and stay healthy[emoji7]

  3. Eat more foods containing it, liver if you like it, is one of the best. Try to also to get in Orange juice or other citrus , the Vitamin C helps your body with assimilation. Most any food list should tell you what else has a high %of Iron. I think beets are also pretty good[emoji12]

Sounds great but I'm still at the early stages of my surgery (puree foods). No fruits as of yet.

  4. Oh wow that is impressive. I felt like crap until yesterday. I had surgery in lenox hill hospital, I still get nauseated just not as bad. I haven't weigh in yet, kind of nervous to even look at the numbers I know I'll obsess over it. The Protein Shakes have been heavy on my stomach especially because I'm still not used to 4oz every hour. I try to get my liquid through everything sugar free ice pops, Jello, ice cubes, tea, etc etc.

  5. My surgery date was 3/13, last week Tues. However I have to say I feel like crap, I'm super miserable. I completely understand that my body is changing and it's going to take time. I kind of just need to vent. My throat is sore from the tubing, anything and everything feels super heavy in my stomach mostly the Protein Shake, I'm nauseous all the time, I'm barely getting 64oz a day. Is anyone else going Through this? Or went through it? When did it get better for you? What made it better?
