  1. I wasn't told I needed to stop the caffeine, so I have been having my usual 12-14 oz of organic black coffee in the morning.

The first few days of the liquid diet were very tough: the first day there was excitement, but on days 2 and 3 I was hangry! After the first week, I got used to it and am now ready to get this over with. This morning I have lost nearly 15 lbs since starting the liquid diet.

I've been using the Premier Protein shakes (30g/serving), which I bought from Amazon. I am hoping that I can still stomach them afterwards because I still have quite a few, and I hate the idea of stirring powder into the tiny amounts of liquid I'll be able to drink in the first month. Fingers crossed.

All the best to you. [emoji4]

Best of luck to you too. I figured I would get a jump not drinking the caffeine since my doctor after surgery I wouldn't be able to drink caffeine. I'm doing the preimer shakes as well but mixing the powder it fits my budget. Well good luck to you too and I hope we can chat again. Congratulations on the 15 bls. I'm to loose some weight during this liquid phase myself. I started on Tuesday but was to start on Monday.[emoji16]

  2. I'll be doing a 2 week liquid diet but my surgeons office provides the shakes.

That's awesome that they cover the cost of the shakes I didnt ask and they didn't mention it. I'm going to call them on Tuesday. I just bought 2 things of preimer shakes because it was so much cheaper then the Bariatric Advantage. I'm trying to locate somw inexpensive liquid vitamins for the first month. Have you found any?

  3. My highest weight my entire life was around 230ish. The biggest size I was, was 20.

Surgery weight for consultation I was 216 lbs & a size 16, XL shirts.

Today, 145 lbs, size 8 & a Small or Medium shirt size.

I'm short, only 5 foot. My signature will basically repeat what i just wrote.

    Height: 5'0"
Weight for WLS consultation: 216 lbs.
    Surgery date: 2/13/17
Goal: -71 lbs for healthy BMI (about 145 lbs).
Current weight: 145 lbs, now ready to lose 15 more past goal.
My profile picture is not me. It's my "FITspiration" body.

This is close to my stats I'm 4'10 CW 218 size 16-18 surgery date 9/18/17. I'm curious why you are trying to lose 15 more lbs if you reached your goal weight? When was surgery? Do you still have your curves? Sorry I'm asking a ton of questions it's just one shorty to another shorty. I'm trying to get my head around would I still be thick but smaller.

  4. Hello,

I'm have bypass surgery on 9/18. I have been debating this with myself for sometime as to is I should purchase a scale. I do plan on taking my measurements before surgery also after to track my progress. The only time I weigh myself is at the doctors office. I have read so many post about people stressing over the number on the scale. I just want to be healthy and not focus on the number.

Anyway just asking people that don't own a scale why don't own and how are they tracking their progress?

  6. Hello Everyon,

I had surgery to remove my band and gallbladder and they told me not to drink after midnight however I was scheduled for surgery at 1 but didn't have it until 4 because they messed up the schedule. Anyway I was so dehydrated they couldn't get the iv in my vein. After 2 different nurse and 3 sticks later they called a specialist just to put in my iv. The nurse told me that I can drink and should drink Water so it won't happen again.
