  1. It’s been almost two years since I got the sleeve and I’m not satisfied where I am. I feel like I could be doing more but I have no motivation in me. I still try to eat healthy but it’s kind of out of control now. I’m scared to be 300 lbs again or to gain any more weight. Lowest weight was 185 I’m at 194 right now. I feel kind of depressed to be honest like I let myself down.. I just need support I guess.

  2. How is everyone doing one year out? I thought I’d lose more weight than I have. I haven’t lost any weight in 4 months and I know exactly why.. I stopped working out and haven’t been eating right.

    I need some motivation.

    Starting weight- 305

    Surgery weight- 282

    Current weight- 185

    Goal weight- 150

  3. When did y’all start to buy new clothes and get rid of old clothes?

I still have some clothes from when I was 300lbs and still wear them but I’m now 185 so they fall off lol [emoji23]

Can’t seem to get rid of them though 🤷🏽‍♀️

  4. I've been feeling discouraged lately! The scale hasn't moved in a week and I started work again on Monday. I haven't been able to work out and I just feel really sad. I drink two Protein Shakes and 2 meals a day no Snacks and a lot of Water. My NUT said I should hit 800-1000 calories a day and I only hit around 500-600 a day. And I have rheumatoid arthritis and the pain came back this week so painful that's another reason I don't work out...

Sorry for the rant/post just needed to write something down.

    HW- 305

  5. Kaiser (whom I'm with) doesn't have a puree stage. We go to a limited selection of soft foods. We also can only have protien shakes and Water for 2 weeks after surgery. No broths or Soups.< /p>

I'm with Kaiser also and they told me to have broth around the 2nd day of post op and I can have Soup as well just watered down. Maybe some Kaiser's are different.

Wow, it's funny how each surgeon is different. I'm with the Fresno Kaiser. Where is yours?

  7. I have RA also I had to stop taking methotrexate 4 weeks before surgery and can't start taking it until 4 weeks after surgery. I had surgery 1/19/17

And I haven't had any bad pain since surgery thank goodness. I've started to work out a bit more and I do feel more soreness but that just might be from the work out or both. Hopefully I can make it another two weeks without pain because lord knows RN pain is the worse ever!
