I am feeling the same here...... I keep reminding myself just like you that my weight doesn't offer me much of a future. At this point, I am starting to feel like my weight has consumed my life and to me, this is no living life. I constantly remind myself I want to run and play with my kids and enjoy their life with them and not just watch them enjoy life. This is what is keeping me off the fence and the reminder the pros out weight the cons for me. I wish you the best of luck!

Me as well, I feel so bad afterward. It scares me because I keep telling myself that I got to control it. Its seems like my fear and anxiety is driving my eating as well. Almost like a comfort.

May 1st is my day......it seems like for ever! I am so ready for it to behind me. I am so ready for a new life!

I am having some of the same feelings about things like sodas and smoking......I try to think of it as a end to the dying me!! I tell myself these things are why I can no longer run and play with my kids. We as well have many memories and traditions that I will miss but I told my family we can make new memories and traditions. Change is not always bad and life sometimes require change in order to be happy!

I can't wait..... until.... 1. I have more energy 2. to have my husband to be able to pick me up again. 3.to be able to enjoy vacation again. 4. to wear normal size clothing

How soon after gastric sleeve can you start working out?

I understand working out is one way I can start fighting lose skin before my surgery........ is there any thing else I can do to get a start on this?

Hey I am also scheduled with Dr Q at Pompeii. They don't require a deposit so I am still open to other decisions. But as of right now I am pretty satisfied with my decision. I, like yourself couldn't afford the surgery without their in house financing. I just wasn't ready to spend everything at once especially when I have other obligations as well. I'm pretty familiar with the procedure as I did all pre op testing only to find out that bariatric procedures are an exclusion in my plan. For me they do require a deposit. The finance company does anyway. And it has to be paid 3 weeks before the surgery. Plus you have to buy you tickets and send the confirmation to them. Sent from my SM-N910T using the BariatricPal App I have a deposit as well and it must be paid three weeks before surgery. I book my flights and send them the info. I am fine with it because I have only seen positive things about Dr.Q and his staff. I feel that I am getting a big discount and a surgeon that is skilled.

I was at work and dropped my pin on the floor........ humiliation........my patient looking at me trying to get it off the floor. Then when I stand up to talk to him after what seem like two minutes trying to get my pin I was red in face..... I am going in May and had been back and forward happy then scared. Now I am so ready!☹
