  1. 2 weeks out and only twice so far. Those were at the hospital and like a previous poster mentioned more likely caused by having been put under and it really was more like dry heaving and foam.
  2. Thanks!! Oh, I’m loads better.. so much better in fact that I have been experimenting with my intake. I’m one of those who are worried they can eat too much too soon but except for one or two minor offenses I’m sticking to the prescribed program. It’s all about changing your mindset after all. 16 lb down since surgery... but I mean, who’s counting. Right?? [emoji12][emoji12][emoji12]
  3. Good luck to all my Oct buds due this week!
  4. I second the slipper suggestion.
  5. Hey, glad to hear you guys are communicating [emoji48][emoji83][emoji48][emoji83][emoji48]
  6. And your wife’s thoughts on the subject?
  7. Just made one for the family today. Yum!!!
  8. Are you allowed gum? I’m not but perhaps you are. Also, popsicles... ice chips (last longer than water)
  9. You crack me up!
  10. That should be a good one
  11. The first couple of days I found it very helpful -darn annoying but helpful nonetheless- to set my phone’s timer to 15 mins and hit repeat. Not only did it get me up and moving but also was a constant reminder to drink.

  13. Oh you’re doing it the other way round! Cool I live in Nutley with hubby and two sons and work in midtown! We should form our own bridge-and-tunnel-crowd support group )
  14. Live in NJ, work in NYC Where abouts?
  15. You’re the best, thank you. Happy Friday!
  16. So glad I came upon this thread, thanks all for sharing.
  17. No, I was careful to leave 1.5 hrs before bed. Maybe just too much texture too soon? I’ll best give it a week before I attempt it again. Thanks for checking!
  18. Good one. My boys kept asking me if I’ll actually be eating baby food. I guess I should consider it for real!
  19. I started off with cottage cheese and when that worked just fine I tried some yogurt. Both were OK. I also had no problems with eating oatflakes and milk (I eat them cold) but that was last night, and this morning I feel like they’re still there... so maybe not try that again so fast, we’ll see.
  20. Following! I’m 8 days post op and felt real hunger for the first time today.
  21. I am, thanks! So far so good
  22. Welcome back! Good to have you back. I was following your posts pre-surgery and have a new understanding and appreciation for them now that I’m post-op.
  23. No such thing as insignificant. If it gets you thinking, then it’s good!
