My b levels were perfectly fine for as long as I took the melting pre-surgery. I may go back to it too, i think i like it better than the nasal spray, even if I have to take them every day, we’ll see. The b i used was the one from celebrate. Check them out, ask for a sample first. Then you can use the cost of the sample toward any purchases.

I take vitamin b. I take it either in sublingual form daily or as a nasal spray (rx from surgeon). I don’t understand why you shouldn’t be able to take it. What’s the rationale behind it and have you spoken to your doctor about this?

Not yet but wouldn’t that be something! I already sneeze back to back to back when I do so not sure anybody would notice if I started doing this because my body’s telling me it’s full! [emoji12]

Newbie, sleeved 3 days ago. Plz help
njgal replied to sleevie_nix's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
The first few days to a week is crappy, no doubt about it. So much so that it was difficult for me to tell one problem from the next, for the first 1-2 days. You will feel better each day but if you don’t feel better even just a bit since surgery I would contact my team if I were you. As for the acid reflux... not saying you do, but I mixed up gas pain and acid reflux those first 1-2 days when I had an overwhelming general crappiness but I started taking prilosec otc the 3rd day and I had been taking it for 2 weeks prior in prepration. When that didn’t suffice for 1-2 nights I ended up taking Tums with my surgeon’s blessing. -
Me too

I was told to start back up on my vitamins straight away. No need to crush either if it went down well, which it did.

As a newbie I'm asking "What kinda site is this?"

I, for one, believe the world benefits much from what you bring to it. I’m not one for sugarcoating anything usually but still would say there is something to be said for putting things nicely if it can be done. -

What Post-Sleeve Rules Do You Break?

To each their own of course, I trust you can make this work. I, for one, wouldn’t want the OK on many of these, as I expect these (for the first 6-12 months) to be automatically unattractive but the point being to train oneself for after the honeymoon period. For when one will not only be able to eat these but also perhaps remember what their appeal was in the first place. -
Omg!! I luuuuuuuuuve buffalo sauce and what does my husband make the day I get home from the hospital? Buffalo chicken drumsticks. Now I don’t want to impose my own way on anyone in the family; I have two boys and a husband who love to eat but I mean was that absolutely necessary on the first day? Thanksfully I was feeling so blaaaah! that I didn’t even desire it. Bless his soul, he felt terrible afterwards! [emoji83][emoji172][emoji12]

Me too! I read somewhere that scrambled might be more difficult than other forms so keep in mind boiled, poached etc

They don’t set the detectors off. My underwire does though. I was also told it doesn’t disqualify you for mri procedures going forward so you should be all good.
