  2. Yep, doing my best. I have an appointment with my dr next week. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. I'm 7 weeks out. I know it's a long recovery, up to 6 months is what I've heard, but I really thought I'd be better than this by now. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  4. I am trying to get protein, but I know it's not even close to what I'm suppose to have. I just can't consume that much. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. I use to be a Very heavy drinker (water). Now it takes me all day to get 12-16 oz of fluids! I can eat a tiny bit each day, but fluids?! I'm struggling! I'm having to force everything. I eat half a yogurt, and I'm full until lunch time! When I'm full I can't even drink. I'm dizzy all the time! Just by bending to pick something up I get dizzy. Lack of nutrition and dehydration? That's what I'm thinking. I'm regretting this whole thing! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. I did this for my diabetes because nothing else worked. I did everything possible including being raw vegan for a year. My blood sugar never changed at all! Surgery was my last resort. The Only reason I did this was diabetes, the weight loss is just an added bonus for me! I got surgery in Mexico 7 weeks ago. I was under the impression (due to all my research) that I'd leave the hospital with my diabetes in remission. Well, that was 7 weeks ago, my blood sugar hasn't changed even a little bit! I've lost 33 lbs. but no results with my main goal, my blood sugar. I'm devastated! I'm frustrated! I'm extremely discouraged. My dr communicates to his patients through Facebook. A couple times he has mentioned to me about my "sleeve". I'm afraid he may have done the sleeve instead of the bypass. That would be a Huge mistake! To me that would be like amputating the wrong leg or something! The sleeve doesn't cure diabetes like the bypass is suppose to. I have an X-ray that they took after my surgery in Mexico. I need to find a local dr who would be willing to look at it and tell me if it's a sleeve or bypass. Is there anyone else who had Bypass and had no results with their diabetes? I'm really struggling with this emotionally! Honestly I'm a complete mess! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. I'm 3 weeks out of surgery, which I had done in Mexico. All the studies I read before hand had me believing that I'd leave the hospital without diabetes. It's been over 3 weeks, and my sugar is still in the mid 300's. Feeling extremely frustrated/defeated. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
