I'm dealing with a very painful sensation. So i pat my chest (burping myself) it seems to go quickly as soon as I do that Misty

Yep! So, are you still hearing the bubbles? I feel like i can burp, but it just wont come out. Then this horriable pain comes on my chest. The only thing I know to do, is pat my chest and try to burp myself. I hope this goes away. It can be embarrassing if im out in thepublic and trying to burp myself. Lol Misty

I hope that pain feeling goes away. I have to pat my chest and then it goes away. Thats the only thing i know to do. Have you tried that? Misty

This is what my Doctor recommended as well. Theres 30 grams of protein in one small box. They sell them in 4 packs at walmart for 6 dollars. I believe they are even cheaper at Sams club ans you get 12 or 18 of them. Misty

Me too! My swelling is so bad! I went in the hospital at 239. And came out of the hospital at 251. Thats how much fluids and swelling I had. I hope it goes away soon for for the both of us. Misty

Right now im drinking clear Isopure. I think its flavored fruity. It has 40 grams of protien in it. Im also drinking propel. Why are you struggling to drink? Just curious, because when I drink, I take small drinks, but I immediately feel like I have to burp myself. Im hoping that will go away the more out from the surgery I get. Have you felt like that? Do you have to burp yourself. I just pat my chest. It feels like I have a burp stuck and it wont come out after drinking. So, do you feel like your stomach wont hold Fluid? Misty

I just had my surgery on the 24th of January. Im on Clear liquids till tomorrow. Here's my question though. Has anyone felt like they have to burp themselves after taking a drink? Or is that the full feeling when I feel There's a burp stuck and it won't come out. Has anyone has to deal with this? Misty

I just had mine done on the 24. Im heavier now than I was when I went in. Its must be because of all the fluids they give you. I hope the weight starts coming off soon Misty

Hey everyone! Im packing my bags for the hospital today. Tomorrow is my big surgery day! Does anyone remember the feeling of freezing after surgery? I just need to know, do I need to pack extra warm clothes? My nurse told me, people tend to run a fever afterwards. Usually that means you could be cold. Tomorrow is my big surgery day!! Im almost in a state of denial that this is all happening. My husband is very supportive, yet asks me if im sure this is the right decision to make for myself & us. He thinks im fine the way I am. I feel, I need to loose this weight for myself & him as well as our family. I want to live! I want a long healthy life! I dont want to live to eat. I know I have a passion for food, ive always loved food. Im an Italian girl who loves her food. I know this is going to be the BIGGEST game changer of my life and my family's life as well. I know im going to have to learn how to cook totally different than what Ive known my entire life. I feel like that may be a struggle for me. What if the temptations come in? Our big family get togethers, with the wide spreads of various , yummy , no good for you foods. How will I say no? Those are the things that come across my mind. How do some of you do this? Have some of you thought about how you will get past these temptations? How will your cooking change for your family? I'm thankful for this group. Clear liquid starts today and im struggling! This is harder than I thought it would be. I only have to do this till tomorrow night at midnight. Its hard though! Especially when all you want to do is fill your belly with actual real food. So, any suggestions of other Clear liquids, other than just broth and Water? Has anyone ever tried the Wylers mix drink compared to Crystal light? Is there a difference? I couldnt find the Crystal light where I live. Any Suggestions, would help. Thanks! My clear liquid pre op diet is for two days. From this point forward, im done with food. I wont be able to even have any protien shakes till a after the surgery. I have surgery on the 24th.
