Hey everyone! Im packing my bags for the hospital today. Tomorrow is my big surgery day! Does anyone remember the feeling of freezing after surgery? I just need to know, do I need to pack extra warm clothes? My nurse told me, people tend to run a fever afterwards. Usually that means you could be cold. Have you tried swallowing your pill? Im one week out as well and I dont have a problem will that. Have you been on the scale? I dont feel like ive lost anything! * Misty *

Has anyone ever gave in to food post op? Im only a week out and Im suppose to be only on liquid. I had a few tiny bites of things, chewed them up really well. Did I ruin everything you think? How can I fall off this wagon already!? Its only been a week! I think my problem is, i havent seen any weight loss prior to the nibbling. So, I got discouraged. Dang it! I feel like ive failed myself, my sleeve, my body. Urgh! * Misty *

I drink Isopure clear drinks. It has 40 grams of protien in it. If I have to drink a shake, I had PB2. Its so good! * Misty *

This is a real struggle! What can you do to stop thinking about wanting food? Im a post op. And I just want to chew on food! Today is my first day of full liquids, so im far off from putting any real food in mu mouth. Any suggestions? * Misty *

Did you all notice a big weight loss your first week? I don't have a scale, but I can honestly say I don't feel like Ive lost anything at all. How would that even be possible!? I was expecting the weight to start falling off! Kinda frustrating. * Misty *

Ive honestly thought about chewing on food, then spitting it out. But, then I figured the temptations of swallowing the food would come in. This is suppose to be my life change that I decided to do for myself. So I just need to suck it up! BUT geeeesh, its SO hard! Im happy to know, I'm not the only one that has struggled with this. I havent weighed myself. Im kinda afraid . The day of surgery, I was 238. The day I left, I was 251. I know thats due to all the fluids they pumped me full of. My swelling hasnt gone down a whole lot. Im SO looking forward to seeing a difference. I think that will really give me the motivation to kick everything in high gear. * Misty *

Good for you! You look awesome! Today I start my full liquids. I had my surgery on the 24th of January. Im looking forward to my swelling going down. Its frustrating when you know you've had the surgery, you've only had liquids and you don't see a difference yet. I know its because of all the swelling from surgery though. I just need to be patient. * Misty *

Finally!! I can move past the clear liquid stage. So, anyone have suggestions for some high Protein, full liquids? I do have premier, im going to try that today. Cheers to the next 11 days being in full liquids. Who else? * Misty *
