The yellow stuff you threw up is bile produced by your pancreas the omeprazole will help and you shouldn't have that problem again as long as you take it every morning, I've had pancreatitis and I suffer from bad acid reflux and if the med doesn't work call your Dr.

My date is also January 11th, 2017 in Norway. Starting my pre-op diet on December 9th. Maybe not the best time to start a strict regiment, but I am so ready!
